First time owning noise cancelling (NC) headphones although have tried others.Wow, thoroughly enjoy wearing them. Have worn them on a variety of situations.Train. Superb a just cutting all the noise out.Walking. There is a function that seems to adjust the level of NC which is pretty good as allows a little noise in to help your awareness of your surroundings. Turning this function off needs to be done on the app as pressing the button to get full NC only last a short period for some reason.Getting to sleep. Wife snores so these are amazing for helping get to sleep. I sleep on my Back so that really helps me.Nice touch pad on side for stop/play/skip/volume works well.Comfortable to wear and sound quality is excellent in my opinion.Battery life seems awesome.definitely recommend them although a bit dearer than I’d planned.Got the ‘refurb’ ones and would never know they were.

This is a wonderful headset during Teams Meetings etc. It's great to have the freedom of walking around and not being tied by wires.The sound quality is great.

Headphones are good but came with the wrong box! Not happy about. I brought these for someone and have them myself already that came with the correct box etc, through a different vendor, these ones didn’t. I would have returned them but as they were a present I didn’t have time. If they came with the correct storage box you would have got 5 stars but they look a bit shonky unfortunately and overall I am very unhappy!No one has responded! I was ripped off big time!!!Don’t buy from them, not the real product!!

This is my second Sony headphone an upgrade from the xm3 version. This is really good, you can answer the phones, listen to music and hear the conversation.The only drawback is that you can't fit into a small narrow laptop bag. Not being able to fit into my small laptop bag is the minutes point, it makes the bag rather bulky.

Exceptional noise canceling and to my hearing fantastic sonically from rock to classical. Battery life is very good , I had read of complaints regarding the case they come with as thease phones do not close as compact as previous models. Personally I like the case and would rather have them protected than not at all. Other reviews on the web indicate percieved flaws but overall thease are negligable and I am very happy with the Sony XM5's.
