This foundation has greatly improved my skin. Clean ingredients and awesome coverage. Lightweight on my skin so I can wear it each day.

I ordered this in Cream. I am a true neutral with fair skin. That is supposed to be exactly what this shade is suited for and the color Cream on the match chart on their website looks exactly like my skin's shade. However, upon first application I was yellow. Even if it is caused by oxidation, the color was far darker when applied to my brush than my skin. It is my belief that this perhaps oxidized inside the bottle. Which means that the product itself is old stock. Perhaps by a year, give or take. When I patch tested this on my hand the night before applying it to my face, it was almost invisible - a perfect match. My hands are naturally a few shades darker than the rest of my body and my face. I suspect I might get a better color match if I order from the INIKA website, as the product will be assumedly newer. However, they don't offer a return policy unless you order from their Australian site, which is more expensive than their US site and Amazon by $15, currently. They also don't offer free shipping on orders under $75 vs $50 for their US site and free for Amazon Prime. The refund period is also much shorter at 14 days upon receipt and processes far longer than Amazon Prime, taking several weeks once they RECEIVE your return, so maybe a month before you see your money back. I emailed them asking if I might get a better shade match by ordering from their site instead of Amazon but I'm skeptical as to whether I'll get the truth. No business wants to admit they are getting rid of old stock for the same price as new stock, right? I might have to pay the extra money and wait for a longer refund period just to try the product on their AU site and see if there is a difference. Regardless, be wary of the color match and I don't suggest ordering it unless you have the time for your funds to be held up by returning it. I hope this review helped someone! If I do order from the AU site and find there is a shade difference, I will update this post to reflect that. P.S. I'm not saying the foundation is expired, I am skeptical that it would be, just that it may have sat in the bottle for a long time leading to a change in color. Makeup can oxidize inside a bottle regardless of brand. This would mean even the one ordered from their website, if new, would change color before expiring unless they changed their packaging or manufacturing techniques. Effectively, you'd be getting less potential use out of it than what the expiration date offered. Hope that cleared things up!

I have dry skin and found this to be a little tacky with a matte finish. It claims to provide intense moisture, but I highly disagree. It does provide a medium to full coverage and didn’t irritate my skin/eyes. The scent is a strong herbal scent that dissipates when the product dries. That could be a negative for some. Overall, I think it’s a pretty good foundation that is best suited for oily skin types.

I researched a safe cosmetic base to purchase, on Yuka. This was listed as excellent, so I ordered it. I’m glad there was a coupon because it was still WAY more than I’ve ever paid. But……. I’ve never had a base that became one with my skin. I was thinking it was a nice clear color because it matched my skin tone, but it actually has a beige tint. There is no chalky finish AND it doesn’t gather in my ummm….wrinkles nope, in my smile lines. Yup, that’s it, my smile lines. Well, those smile lines are getting bigger because this base makes me smile big. It just looks so natural and evens out my face. The most interesting observation I can make is that i apply it in upsweeping motions from the backs of my hands. The backs of my hands don’t look like a different color when I’m done.

It’s irritating to my eyes and doesn’t go on smooth.

Im so in love with this product. It’s very matte. It doesn’t run. It feels refreshing immediately after applying. It’s totally light. It is an amazing product and I highly recommend it.

Love this foundation! Not too thick and doesn’t sit in the lines of mature skin.
