Can you add food colouring to this

While I didn't try food colouring I did add a coffee mix to icing I put on top of a cake. I mixed 2 or 3 tablespoons of ground coffee powder with just enough water to mix the coffee. I then added this coffee mix to a batch of the buttercream icing and it turned out great in both taste and ever so slightly darker for the icing on top of the cake. I would guess that a few drops of food colouring would work just as well.

Does not say whether it is Halal or indeed Kosher but it does say it is "Suitable for Vegetarians" which I can only assume means it does not contain animal products
