Good idea but not very strong
As a concept, these seem great. In reality, they're ok. They can't take much tension though. The elastic is too stretchy and the seam that adheres the hook section to the loop section has broken on at least 2 of them. Also, they would be better if there were a small section at the end without hooks to give you a tab to grab.

Excellent build quality for a reasonable price
The ever so slight stretchiness to them was a real nice touch. I used these to secure my outdoor L shaped patio furniture together.

Grip
I have a fold up rocking chair that I keep in the back of my SUV. It was always rolling around. So I got the Velcro straps to secure it to the back of the seat. They work great. My chair doesn't move and I can still fold the seats down or up with it strapped to the back of the seat.
