High class, for low price
First off, the pen feels solid. It should I suppose, it's fairly thick steel. If I'm ever really hard up for an ice pick, I hope to have this pen in my pocket. It's got a nice weight to it, and it feels great in your hand. If you hold a pen like you are supposed to, the grip (knurled metal) is fantastic. Looks are certainly in the eye of the beholder, but I think this pen looks very nice. There are no markings on brushed steel at all, the only indication of brand and model being a faint stamp on the pocket clip. It's classy. I have used many many pens, and I know all about how annoying it is when you have to "wipe" off the sides of the tip on a ball point to avoid it leaving tiny blobs of ink on the page which you will inevitably smear later with the side of your hand. I have also had many a pen that skipped so badly I needed to go back over half of my notes to "connect the dots". I'm not sure what zebra does to their ink cartridges, but they are doing something right. This pen writes very smoothly.

Reliable, looks more expensive.
Iv Been using this pen the best part or 3 years as my main pen for work, I have to write here and there almost everyday, clipped in my chest pocket, it looks professional, and when ever someone needs a pen and I offer it, they always call it a "fancy pen" and I tell them how much it costs they are always surprised! Great weight to it, and size wise would be nice if they maybe offered a slim version but it's not too big, I would just like a seeker version. It writes very well and consistently and never have a problem with the ink on paper and is comfortable to hold, doesn't feel like a £7 pen atall! I would highly recommend to anyone who just takes a little more pride in themselves and doesn't want to be that person always looking for a pen, or just having cheap plastic ones that you never think about, this pen will get you a few compliments, be a joy to use and looks as good as it does from the first day to the 1000th day! Give it a try!

Great pen, solid, sturdy and best of all....A bargain!
This is a fantastic pen for the money. For the last few years I have continued to stick with Parker as my pen of choice until one day, walking out of work, I find this Zebra F701 on the floor outside my building. Now, everyone knows how exciting it is finding a pen, especially one of such quality. Obviously I took it home! It was only when I started using it did I realise how good this pen actually was and couldnt believe I had stumbled on such a find. Parker was out and Zebra were in! The pen feels amazingly sturdy, had a fanstastic textured grip and writes great. I also appreciate the silent click mechanism which, although not completely silent, still adds something nice. My only gripe is that I wish Zebra made this part of the pen stainless steel and not plastic. Nevertheless a fantastic pen so obviously, when my stray Zebra ran out, not only did I order the refills, I also purchased two additional F701's in the event that I ever lost one. The price for these is great for what you get and unless I walk out of work tomorow and there's a Montblanc on the floor, I will be using this pen indefinelty!

It's a nice pen
It writes fairly well and is a nice pen for the price. It's aluminium and feel's pleasant in the hand. I still prefer my cheap gel pens for writing (not that this pen is expensive by any stretch of the imagination). It is at a price point that you wouldn't sweat it if you lost it and it is handsome enough to be sat on a posh desk, should you feel the need to place it in such a location.

Great pen and great value.
I do love a good pen but I'm notorious for losing things so very reluctant to spend a lot on a pen. Discovered this which had good reviews and took a gamble as it is only £6. Arrived today and it's lovely. Very nice weight to it and feels very solid. Seems a lot pricier than it is and it's extremely good quality especially for such a low price point. Comfy to hold and enjoyable to write with.

Pen to last while looking sweet
I payed £3.65 for this pen five times. It is a good quality metal and looks like it's some type of expensive parker pen or something, I use it in work and college daily. Since I started using them I've had 3 stolen from me in work by customers who have cheakily walked off with them. Sturdy is the name for the pen, strong and lasting. Things to know, not all of this is metal, the clicking function is plastic but non the less it strong and sturdy. The ink isn't the best but it's easy to find alternative ones. Once you've used it a few times it loosens and is nice to write with in my opinion. This pen is not bulky and hard to hold but it's not small either, it's and average sized pen with a decent metallic grip. I have had colleagues and friends ask me how much they are and where they can purchase them from and so far quite a few of them have and re loving them too. Don't hesitate if you're looking for a cheap yet cool and decent looking pen that you want to last.

This is not the F-701
Firstly, this pen is fine. In fact, I'd go as far as saying it is excellent for the price I paid (around £4) BUT this is not the pen as advertised. Whilst the FxMD is the updated version of the F-701, it is still a different product with a non-metal cartridge. Otherwise, this review would be 5*

I was shipped the F-xMD but that is a great pen as well, so I don't mind. The ink flow is a bit strange, but that depends on the cartridge, not the pen. Overall great product, whichever one you get!
