If you've found this page buy one!From the scraper to the magic Pickle this is worth way more than I paid for it just due to the lack of hassle. I initially used a normal wax comb to scrape the wax off and thought I did a god job until I used the one supplied with the Pickle. Loads more came off with no hassle leaving the Pickle to magically get rid of the rest, even from places like the rails where you don't really feel it's there. Board looks like new!!!Don't faff around with meths, surgical spirit, etc just buy one of these. It's still hard graft...but saying that it's first use was on a was a 9'0 longboard.It does leave a little mess, very much like wet sand so I'd do it outside for the first time. Looks like the Pickle will last for ages too.

You can use it by itself to remove your old waxjob, or to remove the remaining residue for a spotless board after removing the wax via another method.Rub the pickle into the board the way you would if you were waxing your board. such a great product. it works so much better than you could imagine. long gone are the days of solvent board cleaners. it is also eco friendly and comes with a board comb.service was excellent and arrived promptly and well packaged.

Never cleaned the wax off a board before so have no benchmark to compare with, but using the pickle and comb it was a very easy and actually quite therapeutic. Would highly recommend this product.

I, like the good Mr Jenkins, would recommend that you stop right now and immediately buy this.As you rub your pickle over your dirty board, it releases sand like particles which clump over the wax and allow you to rub it off easily. No bad smell, no greasy residue (looking at you dewaxit) and it is a real pleasure to use. By far the best wax remover on the market - thank you Team ChowWhy are you still reading this? BUY ONE!

This was not giftable. It also did NOT come with the wax comb! I bought this as a gift for a teen with a year’s supply of wax and new Channel Islands leash. When I received it, I read the packaging, “play with your pickle...don’t be bashful...rub your pickle...grab your pickle”. I’m supposed to gift that? Some sense of humor these guys have. I am buying the cannonball. I only hope THAT doesn’t have some double meaning! My older son refuses to buy Mr. Zoggs for the message it puts out there. Good for him. I’ll do the same.

After removing the thicker layers of wax with the scraper, I alternated using the Pickle and scraper for the thinner ones. Worked like a charm, didn't take too long and didn't aggravate my arthritis. You definitely need to use this outside, it can be a little messy, but overall - a great product.

Works perfectly. Got my board completely wax free in no time at all. Also, I did the underside of all my other boards and couldn't believe the amount of unintentional wax buildup on the bottom. This got rid of all that.

There is simply no other product like it. And to take wax off your surfboard, there is nothing that works better. To get the most out of your pickle, first scrape off as much wax as you can with the included comb. Then we you really can't get any more off without spending an extra half hour, go to work with the pickle. Make sure to dust off the residue now and then, but in about 5 minutes the surface of your board will be completely free of any wax. A pickle is must at the end of the summer when you are putting the board away until the next summer. And if you have ever left old wax on your board over the winter, you know how disgusting it is when you pull the board out of its bag or sock 9 months later. And if the board has gotten hot, cooled, hot, cooled, etc., that old wax can also make a HUGE mess. Love the pickle.

This thing really works, It looks like it's a sock with some weird powder inside. The skin it comes in tears easily though so be careful, but its amazing that it actually works. No more holding the surfboard over the weber grill and breathing carbon monoxide.
