Skullcandy Smokin Bud 2 Wireless, In-Ear, Earbuds, Bluetooth Headphone - Black/Red

These have been as amazing as previous purchases of other Skullcandy items have also been!Was initially worried as a lot of the reviews I read on here said they weren’t great as they had issues with the connection and charge. Well the set I bought a month and a half ago have no connection issues, even when my iPhone 6s is in my jeans pocket, suit jacket pocket, or my bag, and the battery lasts a good 2 days of being used on my 1h30m commute each way to work. Sure my Skullcandy Hesh 2 wireless last longer but they can physically have a larger battery as they are they over the ear ones! I only swapped to the in ear ones as I’ve started commuting to work on the tube and I get really hot anyway so the Hesh 2 were just adding to that, Smoking Buds 2 have resolved that!These Smokin Bud 2’s charge really quickly as well so even if you run out of battery, just plug them in to a portable battery pack, laptop, or a wall plug and they’ll be back up and running quicker than you’d expect.If they run out on my way to work I just plug them in to the computer for a bit when I get to work and they’re done before lunch or I put them on charge when I get home and they are done before bed.They are as comfortable as other Skullcandy ear gear, the collar bit sometimes works its way from my neck but I usually notice and just push them back so the collar is touching the back of my neck again.They are light and have a great sound as you'd expect, so if you are looking for a set of bluetooth earphones that work without the hassel of extra weight at your ears and you don’t want to lose one, then these are definitely what you’ve been looking for!

These headphone are pretty great. The sound quality is fantastic and they sit really comfortably around your neck. I do have one issue with these headphone but I don't think that it's the headphones fault. Now and then the connection will go 'out of range' but my phone is only in my pocket - I feel this might be due to the buildings that I work in. However, 9 times out of 10 the connection is great, battery life is awesome and I am overall happy with my purchase.

Having had these for a few months I now feel like I've experienced all that these earphones can offer, and it's not all great...Firstly the packaging was nicely presented, and in the box you get some instructions, the earphone/neck carrier assembly, and some replacement/different size inserts for your ears. Upon taking it out the earphones have a nice feel to them; well made, soft, and a great colorway.My main intention of purchasing these was to use at my desk at work; sometimes having wires in the wire can be frustrating and as such I thought wireless earphones would solve these problems. The main attraction for me was that the majority in and around this price range consist of two large cubes that seem to sit in the ears with just a wire between them, and for me the thought of the a big heavy weight in your ears was off-putting. They're reasonably priced and Skullcandy always deliver on good sound at a budget that will cost you less than a night in your local, these are no exception. If loudness is your thing, these deliver. They pack a punch playing all songs and have good bass response, delivering a very crisp and clear, detailed sound that you don't always get with earphones in this price range.Bluetooth connectivity doesn't affect the quality in any way and they're comparable with other more expensive wired variants I have.BUT, there are a few drawbacks to these which I think would affect consumers after earphones for sports usage, or walking around town etc....The range isn't brilliant; with my iPhone sat on the desk they're perfect and I can walk up to ~10m away from it and still get uninterrupted playback. As soon as the iPhone is placed in my pants pocket and I begin walking around they struggle and are very intermittent, often dropping out entirely. This is also the case if I have the device in my shorts pocket whilst on a bike ride, sometimes they work OK and sometimes just not at all. With it being so hit and miss I do still tend to take wired earphones for any activities which is very disappointing really, the fit is so good with these earphones you really can forget that the neck holder is there.The battery seems to last for around 4-5 hours which seems respectable, but I quite often find myself wishing that they lasted just that little bit longer to get you through the day.All in all a good product depending on your needs, I would recommend them for the inactive user, but perhaps seek a better alternative if you want to use these in a sporting/active environment.If this review helped you, then please take the time to indicate that by clicking "Helpful". I've used them pretty much daily since August 2016, so I'm not even slightly disappointed. Will be ordering a second pair.

I've stuck with Skullcandy for over a decade now. The sound quality is amazing and you don't have to burn a hole in your pocket to afford them. After my previous wireless pair finally failed I decided to go with these expecting the same quality. The design is great. They fit comfortably around my neck without any discomfort which is great for the gym. The sound quality is great as always, however they're not as loud as my previous pair, but with the right earbud covers that's not really an issue.My biggest problem is the Bluetooth. Having my phone in my front pocket, about 2 feet away, means I get constant little cuts, skips, and stutters with the audio. This may not be a massive deal for a lot of people, but my ADHD makes it unbearable and makes the audio unlistenable. If I hold my phone closer the issues stop, but I shouldn't have to do that! There's a few others here who say they have no issues with it and even that it strong enough to reach to another room with minimal interference so maybe the ones I received are faulty. I'll be exchanging them to see if I still suffer the same issues and will update this review accordingly.

Had these for 4 months now and have to say they are excellent in terms of not just sound but also battery life and durability.Sound is good with decent bass and mid range - ok so not as good as my Bose but still better than most.Pairing by Bluetooth works ok. I generally use the neck "brace" feature all the time which keeps the ear pieces in place well and you soon forget its round your neck. You can remove this and just have a smaller unit at the back of your neck if you want.excellent for at the gym, when flying or travelling or just chilling at home. I would buy another pair no question.

These are my go-to ear buds for when I'm doing yard work. They stay on very nicely and are super light. I hardly notice I'm wearing them. Connects quickly with Bluetooth and has an audible sound when powering on, connecting, and powering down. Low battery audio too. easy to feel controls. You won't be disappointed.

Excelente para manos libres , se escucha muy bien, en llamadas excelente. Solo que las gomas dell control se rompen fácilmente, llevo un año con ellos y sin problema el audio y micrófono. La pila súper bien. Los recomiendo mucho.

Phone calls sound crystal clear , music sounds good and the price was great. I like the attached style instead of the ear buds that can drop or get lost

Tiene u a buena calidad de sonido, algo de esperarse de la marca. Son bastante ergonómicos. Se puede hacer ejercicio con ellos (ejercicio muy dinamico no) la batería dura un tiempo considerable. El único tema es que al menos a los míos, les cuesta mucho ser detectados cuando se buscan mediante Bluetooth. Una vez vinculados se conectan rapidísimo cada que pendes el Bluetooth.También me gustó que el cable de los auriculares es plano y no cilíndrico, eso ayuda mucho a que no enreden y tiene una mayor duración el alambrado interno.
