i have used many other brands of plates and they always break either during installation or when i am changing cables. These just last a long time and don't break during installation

I use these 6-port Leviton faceplates with the Leviton ethernet jacks. The jacks snap in to these faceplates. Then the faceplate screws into a normal single-gang electrical box.The faceplate has an "UP" label. When inserting the Ethernet jacks, start at the top and work your way down.This is a good quality faceplate and includes two metal screws painted white.Scott

This is an easy way to add some connectivity to an existing wall Tel-data jack.

There was no problem using it even with the older and smaller boxes that were already in the wall. Having the ports all located close to the center ensured that. No problem plugging in or removing one that I put in the wrong place. Well made.

This is, of course, a simple wall plate but Leviton has developed a great system. Their quick connectors easily pop into the face plate. I have 5 ethernet jacks for this one and one coax jack. Will buy more as needed.

These are very sturdy and cover a bit more area on your wall perfect if your walls are not even. This gives you chance to adhere seals to the back of the wallplate.
