Lowepro DroneGuard CS 300 Case for Quadcopter/Drone - Black

This is a versatile, light and solid case which I use for my phantom 4. The velcro inside & padding gives this case good adjustability however Lowepro could provide more velcro pad inserts to store additional batteries, cables etc. along the long sides of the case.As noted in other reviews I always remove the propellers prior to closing up the case as, with a tablet & spare propellers stored in the lid compartment, they can bend under the pressure.One slight disappointment with the case comes when wearing this as a backpack style, the padding stops short of where it rests against the lower back and can become quite uncomfortable on longer hikes, I have since changed the strap configuration to a single over the shoulder strap which is a lot more comfortable. This is another indication of how versatile this bag is and how it can be customised to suit each users requirements.

I brought this case originally for a DJI Phantom 3 and I have since upgraded to a P4. The case is a good fit for the P3 and at pinch your can even leave the props on if your align them parallel to the long axis of the case. With the P4 the fit is tighter due to the height of the new motors and, whilst the P4 drone fits the case, I wouldn't leave the props on as they might be subject to undue pressure when the lid is closed.As another reviewer has mentioned, the drone and controller are only secured by a single strip of thin velcro and maybe additional strips could have been provided. Also, as mentioned, the case for the charger is not secured by velcro. I keep my batteries in LIPO safes and these fit the case.I've used the case as carry-on luggage on planes and it fits an overhead locker without any problem. I've also used it on hikes and hill walks, but I don't know how waterproof it might be and I would have concerns about water ingress through the zip.

Was pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of this bag seeing as it was the cheapest option. It makes you look like a turtle and i love it!Plenty of room for a 5 inch quad,2 tiny hawks , goggles, radio, batteries and tool etc..I will be scotch guarding it to make it more water resistant and adding a tab of velcro under goggle-tool bag to keep it in place during transit. apart from that it is perfect for my needs.There is enough space on the outer shell to fix a second 5-6 incher

For a Lowepro im very surprised, There has been little or no thought put into the actual practicalities of the design.Just from the outset, the supposed waterproof case doesnt have decent quality zips which lets water in.The inside storage 'areas' seem snug enough but not enough velcro straps to secure the drone to give peace of mind - using small velcro straps really says it all, why was there no 'specific fit areas' where no requirement for velcro straps was needed?I have other Lowe products eg mountaineering/wildcamping rucksacks which are so well thought out from a daily use practical point of view I honestly struggle to see how Lowe actually designed this case let alone allowing it to be sold!Avoid at all costs, seriously, there is more protection and peace of mind in a cheap rucksack with pillowcases as cushioning....

Was struggling to find a case or bag suitable for carrying a racing drone.Came across this and took a punt.It's been perfect!I carry a 250 quad, beta 75s, taranis, commander fpv goggles, batteries, charger and still have room for more.Protection seems more than adequate and no issues with quality.

Holds my Fimi X8 secure together with all the controller, extra batteries, charger unit, spare blades, accessories & even a very large (110cm sized) foldable landing pad fits inside (just!).Easily holds the Fimi with the arms extended as well as folded. You can organise the layout to suit your drone in seconds just by moving around the velcro sections. I did think the velcro sections may not be up to the job holding the Fimi (being a heavier camera drone & not a fpv sport drone) but they are extremely reliable & never move in transit.Can't fault the backpack in any way 👍

Excellent value for money, really good quality case. I've moved the inners about to fot several different models and sizes of drone init, plus my go pro type camera. Its lightweight too.The back pack design leaves hands free to carry chairs, food bag etc. Perfect Recommended.

Good quality, great price but unfortunately doesn't fit my Parrot Bebop 2 Power without taking off the propellers, unless I sacrafice puting the Skycontroller 2 inside the bag along with extra batteries and goggles. Even then it does touch the borders of the bag, which isn't perfect.Will have to return it, but that is my own fault for not checking the dimentions properly. Probably perfect for earlier Parrot Drone generations.
