Old India Coconut Milk Powder 500 g

I was surprised to find an additive free, 100% coconut milk powder - most of them have at least a little something added - a little stabiliser, perhaps some milk protein, maybe a bit of extra sweetener. This one is absolutely free from any additive. So far, so good.It also has a 'best before' date of two years from this purchase, so it's clearly fresh.It's clean, too, no tiny dots, bits or foreign bodies - or perhaps 'particles' might be a better phrase.This 750g bag is perhaps slightly more pricey than the standard, commercial 1kg bags, but it's better quality.It mixes up quickly into either coconut 'milk' ( 100g powder to 400ml water) or coconut 'cream' (200g powder to 400ml water), so it compares vary favourably with the pricing of tins or packs without having half open cartons loitering.It mixes up quickly, and very smoothly, some coconut powders can taste a bit granular, even when mixed, but not this product.It has a clean, creamy coconut 'body' without being over sweet.I've got mine mainly for adding to curries, or if I'm making rice pud I'll make it using coconut 'milk' rather than cow's milk.One thing I would have liked to have seen on the very simple packaging is a nutrient analysis - coconut milk is hugely fattening, and I'm going to end up like a hippo, because this product is so delish, I can't leave it alone.

This is miles cheaper than buying coconut milk.Just add to water to the strength you enjoy.

Excellent! Use it as a creamer in coffee, add it to smoothies, made coconut cream to use for dairy-free ice-cream and to put in thai dishes. More versatile than any other coconut milk product out there as it stores for a long time, it's light and portable (great to bring on holidays as coconut milk is not easy to find everywhere) and you can make it as thin or thick as you like...great value for money too (at least when i first bought it, prices have gone up a bit). I prefer it to this other brand sold on amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VA2DDWO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2as others, my package had no list of ingredients which is a bit of a draw back for a supposedly healthy alternative.

I am a former doctor (now yogi) who lives by strict and highly selective dietary rules. This is a god-sent for anyone who is nutritionally and/or spiritually conscious about what they put into their bodies. From my extensive research, I could not find any other company online besides this one that sells 100% pure dried coconut milk powder. Every other brand fills their product with additives and chemicals. I LOVE this product and have it on repeat order every fortnight. It is a staple in my pantry and has been for the past year since I first found it. Fantastic for vegan banana smoothies, vegan hot cacao, vegan creamy curries, etc. Simply an amazing product that deserves an award!

All the coconut milk powder I have had in the past has had additives, but this one is PURE coconut..and it is delicious Highly recommended. It doesn't seem to be 'clumping' (which is why we have to ahve the additives...according to other coconut milk powder providers.). Give it a go.
