Mini Olive Tree- Superb Plant & Flower Gift for Birthday & for All Occasions

Be prepared as judging my previous comments people were surprised with the size. They stated it is mini and it sure is. Not sure how many years it will take to grow even a few inches considering the UK weather. Seen much bigger olive trees at local markets in and around London, I would advise to take your time and shop around a little before purchasing this. Unless you want a MINI tree. This tree cost me around £13 but for £7 you can find a much larger one. I'm sure IKEA even sell olive trees now.

My mum loved this present - which arrived in time and is flourishing (indoors). She did comment, however - echoing the comments of a previous reviewer - that the tree/pot is not presented as per the photograph. So, no bow, no hessian sack, (no bauble?). The photograph, therefore, is somewhat misleading. If such attention to detail is not a concern, I recommend this product.

Did not come gift wrapped as stated! Also instruction leaflet states to stay in cool indoor area throughout the winter, but advert states outdoor plant. This is not to say the Olive tree is not good, as bought for a Christmas present and came well packaged.

Well it is still alive, it did say for indoor use as well on the advertisment on Amazon. But never mentioned anything such when the tree arrived. However it was inside for several months, did not do too well and 75% seemed to die off. I then decided to put in the garden in a sheltered spot - it is doing great now.

Much bigger than I expected - I can't remember if it had the size measurements there, so it was probably my fault for not reading. Still nice though

I was disappointed when the tree arrived as the pot was not gift wrapped in the hessian bag and bow as the photo shows. It just had some yellow tissue paper stuck around it, therefore not looking as attractive a gift. I had ordered two plants, one for my mother and one for my mother in law for mothers day, Only one plant had the gift tag and it came with just one set of care instructions. However the tree is a lovely mini size for a gift.

Living in Pomerols in the South of France we have many Olive trees in the region. My friend has a holiday home here, and when ever she returns home, she say "I wish I could take a little of the South of France back home with me". So I purchased the Olive tree as a pressie on her birthday. She was over the moon. Also so many buds on, Now the Olives themselves are forming.
