I have been pleased with these G9 LED bulbs so far. The item came packaged well and feels built to last.With light fittings that take G9 bulbs, you tend to need to use around 4 or above so these 3W bulbs are perfect and will brighten up your room. Being a LED bulb this should last longer and keep my bills down.These are dimmable bulbs, however, I am just using them in a non-dimmable setting so unable to comment on how well they work.Time will tell how good this LED bulb is, but for the time being I am pleased with this purchase.

False advertising. I'm running the varilight pro for LED bulbs, all other dimmable LEDs I have on this dim smoothly, and fully, with no flickering, or over heating. These ones do not dim! Maybe they dim by 0.1%, I can't be sure. But they're either off, or on. they get hot, and the colour variation is poor too. Utter dogsh*t. You have been warned.

Not warm white, daylight white, do not match other lights in the room. Also does not dim, goes from to full light the one step down to half bright then off.

This is the second time that I have bought these light bulbs. The first time they worked very well. The second time, I had a problem with a flickering bulb but the supplier sorted it out very quickly.

These bulbs come very well packaged inside individual boxes, as shown in product photos. The boxes are then well held in a well sized box sure to absorb and hit they should encounter during shipping.Fitting the bulbs couldn't be easier, they slot straight into my lamps, and worked first time as expected with no issues.The bulb feels very secure in my lamps, unlikely to wiggle lose.The bulbs are plenty bright enough, and dimmable to make them even more versatile.Price wise, places like B&Q charge £6 for a pack of two traditional light bulbs (not LED), so 6 more energy efficient bulbs with supposedly longer life for £15 is extremely reasonable!All in all I can't help but recommend. There's no reason to fault them!

I have replaced a few LED lights around the home & generally found that the LED's have been much brighter than the old bulbs. In this case, the bulbs are quite a bit dimmer than the originals (40W halogen). The headline description says 3W, but read more and you will see mention of 1.6W - which seems to be more accurate. The colour is also much whiter than the halogens they replaced - but the colour isn't the offensive bright white that you can get with LED's.I have a dimmer switch for these lights - it is possible to get them to flicker at certain settings, but they are OK and do seem to work with the dimmer. Dimming is not as gradual as with a halogen - there are probably 3-4 brightness levels.One area I was worried about was the physical size - these are longer than an equivalent halogen, but luckily they are a good fit in my lights. Check carefully before ordering!If they had been brighter, I would have given 5 stars. If you are replacing 20W bulbs, these would be fine.

They emit a bright yet non overbearing light, which is instant (unlike other bulbs of this type). Brill. Replaced my 4x 40watt halogen with these and the brightness is comparable or better. Well made and fantastic packaging from the manufacturer as they are packed in an anti static packaging, not something others actually do. Would buy again but hopefully won't have to if they last as long as they say.....
