Laser 3117 Oil Filter Wrench 3/8"D - 76mm x 14 Flutes, Black

I got it for my Merced Benz E Class 270 CDi (W211). Fits perfectly and does the job. Appears good quality. However on receipt, I was about to return the item as it had a round drive! On closer inspection I found there is a squarer drive 3/8" if I remove the round silver piece, which I did. It looks like the round silver piece is provided only to attach the wrench to the packaging! Laser must have made it clear in their packaging as I am sure there are many more who must have got confused as I did. In fact I was initially not planning to order it as it appeared to ahem a round drive, but since ordering from Amazon I was confident I could return it without cost to me and I went ahead and ordered it.

One of those tools that is a must for an easy life! fits perfectly make changing filter a breeze its well made for a job you only do once a year recommend.

Used a few times for oil changes on my mk4 golf. However, the metal where you put the socket is a bit weak and is starting to bend out of shape.

it was dirt cheap and it came the next day can not argue with that as i needed it there and then, it fit my BMW E90 320d (2009) oil filter perfectly! if you only doing one or two filter changes then its perfect but its not made of the strongest material and will shear the hole. i gave it 4 star because its cheap and does the job, however if doing a lot of filter changes then you will need one with a wrench bult on top and stronger one.

Great item, gets the job done

1. Nearly did not buy it because picture showed a round socket (had part of packaging still in place). 2. Took longer to get the stupid round packaging rivet off with two pairs of pliers than it did removing my oil filter. 3. That been said - great bit of kit and well up to the job.

This fit my MK4 Golf 1.9tdi perfectly and allowed me to change the oil filter myself. A good tool for a home or workshop vehicle mechanic. Strong build quality, I have no doubts it should last for years. Only downside is, I wish it was 1/2" rather than 3/8" as more ratchets tend to be 1/2".

Il prodotto in sé è piuttosto "dozzinale": una lamiera adeguatamente ripiegata e sagomata. Però calza alla perfezione sul filtro e, usando una chiave adeguata nell'incavo quadro, si riesce a sbloccare il filtro olio senza la minima fatica. Largamente soddisfatto.

Très bien, fait le job

La pieza es de metal lo cual fue una agradable sorpresa, pensaba que sería de plástico duro y resistente, pero no, es de metal. Sobre las medidas, la propia llave tiene grabado el 76 en ella. ¿Porqué hay gente que dice que es de 74? Porque depende de donde midas la llave, y lo mismo pasa con el filtro. Si se mide desde un lado al que tiene enfrente salen 74, si se mide desde una esquina a la que está enfrente, salen 76. Yo lo comprobé con el filtro y con la llave y me salían esas medidas. Decir que lo usamos con un MB200, creo que es W204, y todo perfecto.
