An excellent book
I'm currently studying a holistic therapy course, and at the beginning I was recommend this book as it used the same foot charts we would be using. Buying the book, I realized how much more there was in it. The book starts with a very easy to follow chapter in the movements you may use, well laid out and colorful foot charts, symptom/reflex tables and above all is very user-friendly. I really felt like I was cruising in my class until I bought this, and it's price is amazing as well! There are a lot of reflexology books out there, yes, but I would highly recommend this to anyone starting out in reflexology or even an expert perhaps. This should be on everyone's shelf, and as mentioned, it's a fantastic price. Mine is obviously used, there's some pencil marks across the inside covers, and the sleeve was a little torn, but that just means it's been loved, and the inside of the book is pristine. From when I ordered the book, it took less then a week to arrive, fantastic!

Very interesting and easy to follow
I'm a complete novice, am not studying reflexology, but wanted to learn about it and practice it on myself. Although that is not explained, the book is very clear and easy to follow, giving drawings of how to do the reflexology and you can apply it to yourself. It has a complete and clear diagram of the feet with the reflex points that correspond to the different parts of the body; therefore you can concentrate on whichever point you need for your own particular ailments, or simply for relaxation, and can learn how to do this for others.

this one is fine. Not too full on with the power speak
Part of the required reading list, although it been written by an American which on occasions can make for a difficult read for English people especially where text books are concerned, this one is fine. Not too full on with the power speak, saccharine phrases usually peppering their books.I especially like the last chapter which gives a very comprehensive list of ailments and areas to treat. As a quick reference guide.

The Reflexology Handbook: A Complete Guide
This is an excellent publication, standing the test of time; although to gain real benefit from it, the individual needs also to be in hands-on situations as much as possible. Reading guidebooks is one way to learn; observing others, and/then connecting in a very practical way the techniques in this Handbook, would help in the assimilation of its contents and the value of this erstwhile publication.
