---PREMESSA Entriamo subito nei dettagli e lo dico con grande convinzione, questo proiettore soddisfa i due requisiti fondamentali che sono: - Correzione Automatica Keystone - Regolazione del Focus uniforme su tutta la superficie dello schermo Senza queste due caratteristiche non ha senso acquistare un proiettore a meno che non riusciate e metterlo perfettamente in linea con la superficie dove proiettate senza doverlo inclinare e pertanto senza aver bisogno della regolazione del Keystone, ma è un caso davvero particolare. ---Difetti Il difetto principale è la grandezza di questo dispositivo che sembra un proiettore degli anni '90. In realtà la dimensione è data dal fatto che la lente è molto grande e permettete di proiettare fino a 300 pollici con una buona messa a fuoco. Altri tre difetti: - l'opzione YouTube dal menù principale non funziona - appena collegato alla rete WiFi ho verificato gli aggiornamenti e ne ho trovato uno disponibile, versione xx19, ma viene aggiornato alla versione xx18 e continua a trovare la versione xx19 disponibile da installare. - i piedini erano talmente duri da svitare che ho dovuto usare le pinze! ---Proiezione Da una distanza di circa 3.2 metri riuscite a proiettare un'immagine da 100 pollici. Si, la risoluzione nativa è di 1920x1080. La qualità dei colori è ottima ma la luminosità dipende dalla velocità della ventola perciò se volete una proiezione molto luminosa dovete aumentare la velocità della ventola con conseguente aumento del rumore. Tenere la ventola a velocità troppo bassa non conviene perché il motore scalda molto e si surriscalda. Il Keystone può essere regolato automaticamente (scelta consigliata) o manualmente (scelta sconsigliata). La regolazione automatica avviene SOLO in verticale! Vuol dire che lo dovete mettere parallelo alla superficie dove proiettate, poi lo alzate o abbassate e grazie al Keystone automatico il trapezio diventa un rettangolo. In questo caso anche la regolazione del Focus, che è manuale, rimane uniforme su tutta la superficie proiettata. Se lo spostate lateralmente, cioè il proiettore non è più parallelo alla superficie dove proiettate, dovete regolarlo per forza manualmente, magari riuscite a fare un bel rettangolo ma il focus sarà impossibile da regolare omogeneo su tutta la superficie. ---Funzionalità Le funzionalità sono principalmente tre: - lettore multimediale (testo, immagini, video, documenti office, PDF): io lo uso quasi esclusivamente per i formati video MKV e MP4 e la compatibilità è ottima. Legge perfettamente lo standard H.265 10-bit. L'interfaccia è minima ma ha tutto quel che serve compresa la possibilità di selezionare lingua e sottotitoli. - connessione multischermo: funziona sia per Android che per iOS. Per Android dovete avere una APP di casting e collegare entrambi i dispositivi (dispositivo Android e proiettore) alla stessa rete WiFi, altrimenti non funzionerà mai. - YouTube: l'icona è posta nel menù principale ma non sembra funzionare. Cliccandoci sopra non si apre. Probabilmente risolveranno il problema con la prossima versione del firmware. ---Audio Il comparto audio è davvero basilare con due speakers da 10W l'uno che risultano un po' gracchianti con bassi praticamente inesistenti. La soluzione migliore è quella di accoppiarci una soundbar. Volendo lo si può usare anche così, se non avete grosse pretese, ma anche l'orecchio vuole la sua parte! ---Altro - lateralmente è presente il filtro dell'aria che si può estrarre per poterlo pulire o sostituire - porte e ingressi: due ingressi HDMI, un ingresso AV, due porte USB, una presa di rete RJ45 e un ingresso Audio 3.5mm - connessioni: Wi-Fi e BT ---Dotazione - 1 proiettore - 1 cavo di alimentazione con spina SHUCKO - 1 manuale di istruzioni multilingua (il grosso del manuale è scritto in inglese con solo una minima parte in italiano) - 1 adattatore AV - 1 filtro aria di ricambio - 1 panno per la pulizia della lente - 1 telecomando con due pile AAA incluse ---Conclusioni Se non volete spendere un patrimonio per un proiettore 4K nativo, dovete accontentarvi di una soluzione inferiore. Questo proiettore ha la regolazione del Keystone automatica (in verticale) con la messa a fuoco uniforme pertanto è un'ottima scelta. Purtroppo è un po' ingombrante ma ha il vantaggio di poter proiettare fino a 300 pollici. Gli aggiornamenti del firmware sembrano abbastanza regolari anche se non sono ancora riuscito a installare l'ultimissima versione. La sezione multimediale, nel suo piccolo, è completa e la possibilità del multiscreen è sicuramente un'ottima funzionalità. Sicuramente qualcosa da migliorare c'è, magari coi prossimi aggiornamenti, ma per ora sono soddisfatta.

Very happy with the purchase, the projector has sharp image and enough brightness, even with a lot of daylight in the room the image is good. Keystone adjustment works good, as well as the zoom function. Possibility to choose fan speed issue also great.

I bought this projector without many expectations. I wasn’t sure I’d like it but once I figured out how to make it work in my space and for my personal needs it actually works great. Brightness and clarity: It’s very easy to see even with daylight shining into the room. The picture itself is very clear and the focus and settings are straight forward. While the 1080P makes the clarity of the picture pretty awesome, you may notice the difference between to 4K when watching certain content. I wish I was able to increase the brightness while watching something rather than needing to adjust the setting separately. Connections and bluetooth: I connected my Apple TV directly to the projector, which makes streaming very easy. As an iPhone user I was frustrated because streaming was blocked when I tried casting, mirroring, and connecting via their casting tool. This happened on all the streaming channels (Netflix, Hulu, Prime) because of HDCP projection standards…which just means it will look like it’s working but it won’t. Apps and WiFi: Aside from casting rooms, YouTube is the only pre-installed app. I didn’t care too much until I realized it was handy and one less thing to connect. The WiFi connection works easily and Bluetooth works, though I haven’t been able to connect it to my soundbar via BT; it’s an older soundbar so not all devices recognize it. That being said, the volume on the projector is surprisingly good, and much louder than expected. Final assessment: Overall, I’m happy with the product, I find myself using it daily, and am enjoying the super large and clear projection size

The first consideration with projector -based viewing is that the images are no better than the original image. The main benefit is that the image detail is easier to see and watch for long spells and that you see detail not noticeable on even a large TV screen. This is what creates enjoyable watching. We knew from experience with a previous projector that the placing of the image on the screen needs to be finely controlled. The photo shows how it was one using the M4 screwed holes in the base, a piece of plywood and a tripod head. Very satisfactory! As to the picture quality controlled by the picture settings, much trial and error is needed to get the best out of the thing. The first two photos compare high-ish and low ambient lighting - low lighting wins hands down. The greatest improvement to picture quality is made by reducing brightness; this also allows the reduction of fan speed and associated noise. The photo of the car shows that the quality of the picture can be amazingly good and rewards fine tuning. The only little? annoying thing is that phono leads tend to slip out of the headphone socket. I fixed that by using a three wire AV phono plug. We really enjoy having an evening in front of the projector screen instead of the TV screen. This is an update -October 2025. It is really easy to plug in a streaming stick as HDMI 2; my streaming stick is easily mounted and powered by the USB socket at the back of the projector. Everything is as impressive as it was
