brilliant for the elderly

I bought this for my grandad who has reduced blood flow to his extremities, which makes gripping a cup or beaker difficult. He is able to hold this cup safely and I feel happy knowing that the chances of him spilling water/juice is reduced, also the chances of him dropping this during the night are reduced so he can take his tablets with water during the night. It doesn't leak easily, is easy to use and does what it's supposed to do. Just like the "Dr. Bone's Therapeutics ® Mug with Internal Cone with Spouted Lid" I highly recommend this for anyone with disabled relatives or people who struggle to grip and hold a normal cup or beaker etc, so much so that I have ordered another 3 of them, 1 for his juice and 2 to go in the cupboard for when the 2 in use need cleaning and as spares in case he drops one.

Good product but it's not 400mls. It's stated on the beaker 300mls.

My partner is pleased with this mug, although it is smaller than advertised it is still around 300mls, so a reasonable size. He uses it for hot tea/coffee. Although it seem as if the lid is too small when first put on the cup, if you are drinking a hot drink, the lid actually expands after a couple of seconds and fits snuggly. I think if you had a cold drink the inverted lid with a straw would be best. The mug is lightweight and because of it's lid the drink keeps warm for longer. He says it doesn't make the tea taste unpleasant as with some other plastic mugs. From my point of view, as chief tea maker, it's nice and easy to make the perfect cup of tea in, because you can clearly see it.

Ich wollte solch eine Schnabeltasse aus Glas!! So steht es hier auch in der Produktbeschreibung!! Der Artikel ist aber aus Plastik!!! Genau das wollte ich nicht!!! Ich bin verärgert und fühle mich veräppelt!!! Artikel geht natürlich zurück!!!

Aber wir benutzen ihn ohne Schnabel, da sich unsere Seniorin wegen der doch unkontrollierten Fliess geschwindigkeit ständig verschluckt hat. Ohne geht es sehr gut mit den sehr zittrigen Händen. Sehr robust. Ich wasche ihn per Hand auf. Habe Spülmaschine noch nucht ausprobiert, da ich vermute, dass der Becher dann blind wird. Trotzdem würde ich ihn wieder kaufen.

Excellent for shakey hands especially hot drinks. Handle large and away from mug easy to pickup also
