I put this on my Braxton Creek Freesolo 15' camper and loved it. I had a small problem with the poles and even though it was past 30 days the manufacturer and distributor from Amazon sent me 4 new poles. Thanks again!Easy to install and I really like the retractable part of the awning.

The awning installed without a problem, and looked great on my Jeep. However, upon first use, the vertical arm to hold it up broke. The materials at the joint was very thin, brittle and fragile, which for this application requires more durability at that stress point.

I put this awning on my Jeep XK I'm building out for Overlanding. Attaching the awning to my rack ( build from unistrut and e- track) attaching was easy. The brackets could be a little beefier in my opinion but the work well.. Now as for the design I like the all aluminum cover, the material is well made. The auto retract has worked well and I like that. I used it on a 4 day 3 night trip extending and retracting it at least 8 times with no issues. Setting it up took a few times to get used to the best way to do it alone. All in all it is well worth the price and sturdy enough. The next trip is in a few weeks and will keep you informed. Side note .... Retracting make sure you keep it even and straight so it retracts as it should.Brian M. / my Dirt Road Life adventure fun.Update 2 more trips with the awning, all is well with the awning. There is a track on leading edge for attaching awning wall and I'm pretty sure you could attach a room to this awning. I'm most likely going to find out in the future.8/29Well after a few more trips I had a issue. The straps that hold the awning to the horizontal poles all came off over this past past week. The glue that was used looks as though it melted of got so soft it detached from the awning. I am traveling from Michigan to Kentucky this weekend and will post pics of the failure.10/3/23Awning Velcro straps all fell off due to the glue that held them on failed.I'm assuming the heat melted the glue when the sun was beating down in it.

If you live in a sun drenched land, this is the awning for that environment. Not only do you have shade but the awning, when not in use, is protected from sun damage by an aluminum case. The semi automatic roll up feature is really nice.

Poorly assembled, the material used to hold the awning is very weak, retractable mechanism sucks. Used my one time and it broke. Now the company who sales the item wants me to pay for shipping, after I had the item for less than a month. Please do not waste your time and money in this item you will regret it. I usually don’t write reviews even if I’m not fully satisfied with my purchase but this time is way different. I could give this guys 0 stars but it’s not an option.

We used this one time on a camping trip and LOVED IT!However, in prepping for our next camping trip, we opened and pulled out the awning and immediately the right end pole just fell off. The piece holding it in is just plastic and it broke. (Attached a picture of the pole and where it broke.) Now we don't have a right end leg and we are leaving on trip soon. Total bummer!Overall, we loved this awning and I would give it a straight 5 out of 5 stars for its functionality, versatility, and appearance. But it is made with poor materials so I give it a 1 on quality.I still don't regret purchasing it. We just need a way to fix it....fast!

The extension arms broke with 30 min of the first use. Unfortunately it had been delivery just beyond the 30 day return policy. Very disappointed.
