Really happy with these. The wooden plank certainly isn't a chunk of solid oak, but it looks nice enough and does the job. I'm using one to sit my iPad on at the end of the bed, I haven't used the other one yet but the one that I have installed is holding up great. The screws are as always, a bit like cheese, but use a lower torque setting when screwing in with a power tool and you'll be fine.

Very happy with these shelves. Brought to fill an empty gap above my fridge. I found these fairly easy to put together and drill onto the wall.

So overall these shelves are nice. Were delivered quickly and did what I wanted them to do.As other reviewers have said they are a strange material and the "wood" is very light, but I wouldn't say that they are weak.I bought two packs of 2 and both were slightly different so just be wary of that, the brackets were welded slightly differently resulting in the shelves sitting differently. So to disguise this I just mounted one shelf and then lined it up instead of marking all at once, I also alternated so that it blended better, once installed with items you can't really tell.Worked really well, feel sturdy. The wall plugs supplied weren't the worst I've seen but I used more heavy duty ones on my horrible plasterboard.

Lightweight, very strong. Just right for the space and purpose I wanted them for. Good value for the money I spent too.

Easy to install, light and good quality.

They're very cheap looking but also very light weight too. Not sure of the material - almost like sturdy polystyrene that has been sprayed. But also very cheap so you get what you pay for... From a few feet away you'd not notice it's cheap material but a close up inspection you would notice. I'd say it would depend on where you had them and how bothered you are if they look a bit on the cheap side.

Put these up 7 weeks ago in our office, so they see a lot of use. They look good, are sturdy and well made

Shelves are lovely, a real bargain, I bought 2 sets, would highly recommend for decorative purposes
