I work with freight shipments so I am constantly working with straps, nets, just resources that can easily cause injuries to my hands and fingers. Sometimes I work with damp materials as well which would be considered to be uncomfortable to handle without proper waterproof gloves.These gloves are amazing. I’ve been in many situations where I could have easily been injured with the work that I do and these gloves have prevented so many workplace accidents whether that be handling resources that can cut your fingers, resources where my fingers can get smashed, you get the point.I have small hands so the size small for these gloves fit as perfectly as anything ever could. My hands and fingers are well protected and snug. The material isn’t itchy, or uncomfortable. I don’t have to keep adjusting for my gloves to fit tighter and to keep from slipping off, they fit perfectly on my hands and stay there.They are waterproof. You won’t feel the dampness in the slightest so rest assured you won’t feel a single drop of any liquid that transfers onto the gloves.These gloves are amazing when it comes to handling anything more on the slippery side or picking up and gripping tools or packages in my case. It’s not annoying where the grip is hard to shake or a sticky feeling in a way. The material is just enough to make carrying or holding any tools much easier. No sticking but also not slippery. You have just the right amount of grip to the gloves.All in all, these are an amazing pair of gloves to have and to own. In my field of work, I couldn’t have asked for anything better or more perfect. I am very happy with these. They are a must for me.However, if you want gloves with a more sticky feeling (probably not the best description) I would still recommend to try these first because you just never know what you are actually seeking until you try a pair and see what you are looking for. These are a great pair of gloves to start with, if the grip or material isn’t to your liking, you can still have these at your disposal but also have an idea of what you are seeking.

I use these while slicing on the mandoline. They work very well as far as cut resistance is concerned but the fingers are way too long and try as I might it's almost impossible to pull the cloth back so I can use my fingertips, so the hanging end of the cloth is always snagging on the blade.I have wide hands and wide, short fingers but my gardening, winter, and driving gloves are short enough for a decent fit. I sure wish these did too. A smaller size wouldn't be wide enough to fit me. I suspect that long-fingered people wouldn't be particularly inconvenienced if the glove's fingers were shorter, and it would be a whole lot better for us short-fingered folks.

These gloves are easy and comfortable to wear, they stretch to fit, and I have no idea what would happen if I accidentally slipped the knife and cut into my hand. I haven't done it yet. However, wearing them doesn't impair my shucking (I'm a novice, but it seems easy), and my wearing them makes my husband feel more confident that I am safe and we won't have to rush to the ER.I have medium to small hands, and I bought the small. There is still room in the fingers and the hand, so I recommend buying the small size if you are a 5'2" woman of medium build with short to medium fingers.

I basically bought the gloves after also purchasing a mandolin. The fit is great and was able to be less fearful of slicing potatoes quickly.I would buy these again.

They feel very comfortable. I can't tell if they protect when using the mandoline since I keep my fingers away. So far. I washed them and they come out clean and continue to last.

Buy it 1 size smaller, as it stretches. I typically wear an XL glove, and had to go with a L. Probably could've gone to a M.

I received some very nice knives and sharpener as a gift. Which is a bit ironic, as i was in the ER several weeks ago getting stitched up after a large knife slipped while trying to cut a delicata squash. Now, i feel protected.

I bought these, because I sliced my knuckle removing letters off a wall at work. I am the visual mgr at Dillards. So, now anytime I am removing lettering from a wall I wear these and feel protected.

I'm afraid these could be dangerous if you were less than careful, which I am not, and believed these offer total protection. I was cutting some celery, not chopping anything tough and the tip of the finger which was slightly too long was severed effortlessly at the tip. Thankfully my finger was a little back and suffered no damage. Couldn't recommend them without strongly advising they are designed to offer some protection and are not "cut proof".Following my initial post I was contacted by company customer service who ware extremely polite and explained the product in a clear and concise manner. I appreciate this.

I actually put the safety warnings/instructions up on my fridge for a while because they were so amusing. I get the feeling people were buying these thinking they would be invincible with them on, compelling the company to add some common sense warnings.Anyway, these gloves are perfect for what I got them for (protecting my hands while using my mandoline slicer) and I'm pretty sure they've saved me from slicing off half a finger many times already. They're comfy and fit well.Of course they're not going to protect you from stabs and puncture wounds, but they'll keep you safe from little accidental knicks and cuts. A must-have for anyone with a mandoline.

This is the third time I have posted a review but they keep disappearing for some reason.Anyway, excellent product. Have started wood whittling/carving and these gloves protect your hands from those little slips with the blades. I thought gloves would hinder the way I held the projects whilst working on them but they actually help with a good grip without being cumbersome and getting in the way. They will not stop a determined attack with a hacksaw or knife but used with care and common sense, they will certainly save your hands from those slips.They resist. Its all in the wording ;)

We breed pigs for our own consumption and butcher them. Now having cut myself a few times (not bad) I thought it was time I bought some protection. These gloves seem to do the job, they are NOT total protection but will limit the damage which they have done for me (and they did not cut through, so no damage to my hand). Now all I have to do is brush up on my butchering skills. They also have grippy things on the palms so you don't drop your knife. I bought the large size and they are a snug fit, although I do have large hands, but this is not a bad thing as they are like a second skin. All in all I am very pleased with them and at a price that is good.

just received,my cut resistant gloves, first thing i did as we all do, was out with my sharpest knife, which I previously sharpened.And tried to slice through them, Ps. I was not wearing them at this time.They passed the test no problems, BUT as the seller states,they may fail at some point but the injury will be to a minimum, compared to the injury not wearing them.Very good fitting, just like a second skin,Excellent safety product,I highly recommend them for the kitchen/galley,
