Good quality and large
Been using for 6 months or so now and it's working well. I liked that there were no harmful chemicals or anything used in this. I don't want to expose my dog to anything like that. It's very large and the bowl is thick and has a nice finish inside. The only thing I didn't like was the sticker that was on the face of the bowl inside. It was impossible to take off in one piece and it wasn't possible to lift an edge to peel it. Had to soak in hot water and scrape it off and then scrub off the adhesive.

No more stickers!
Nice bowl. But stop gluing the sticker to the bottom of the bowl!

Sleek-looking large capacity bowl
I've discovered that many bowls that appear to be large simply don't hold enough water to get my thirsty fella through a full day of lapping big dog gulps of water. This bowl (I bought the largest size) holds as much water as I had hoped, about 60 oz. with still enough margin from the rim that he can slurp away without spilling more than usual. It is slightly taller than others I have bought, so it has a compact footprint well-suited to my dog's feeding riser.Yes, it is ceramic, so you mustn't bang it hard against a ceramic sink, but it has survived several weeks of daily washing, both by hand and in the dishwasher. Treat it the way you would good stoneware human dishes and you should be fine. Highly recommended.NOTE: As for the reputedly hard-to-remove sticker (label), I found this not to be a terrible problem, so it may have been addressed by the manufacturer subsequent to the negative reviews. I believe I used a small nylon pot scraper that I use to clean burned food off my pans to lift the label off, and possibly I saturated the residue with goo-gone to release the adhesive, but it wasn't difficult. I was expecting a big challenge that simply didn't arise.

Don't have a dog, just feed outside feral cats. So why do I need this expensive, heavy bowl?
Because of raccoons, opossums, skunk and ... crows!? And I live in very urban west Los Angeles. I feed the cats wet and dry food in separate bowls. At night we can often hear crunch, crunch, crunch of non-cat critters eating the dry food and clang, clang, clang of the old, not weighted ceramic bowls when little paws knock them over, spilling everything. Raccoon pups especially love to play around with the bowls. In daytime it's crows standing on the bowl rims tipping them over and scattering dry food everywhere. Bet Fable company didn't see that coming. These weighted bowls have finally given me peace. Since I purchased these heavy ceramic bowls no more clang, clang, clang. Wonderful silence. Except for the crunch, crunch, crunch (and caw, caw, caw). And the bowls look good too.

Why???
I haven't even been able to test this bowl yet. Why, why in tbe world would the manufacturer put a giant sticker that will not easily peel off on tbe bottom inside of bowl. This is really a STUPID and ANNOYING thing to do. I've been trying to peel the sticker off for 15 minutes. That's when I finally decided I had to show everyone how ridiculous and unnecessary it was to put this stupid sticker in here.

Good Product
I bought this to use for my snake. The label came out easily with no adhesive sticking as I pulled it slowly.I like how the bowl changes color I'm the light.
