Very bright, exceeds my expectations.
I am impressed with the weight/quality of this light. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the metal heat sink, bracket, and bolt give it a very solid feel. I didn't realize it has a carry handle when I bought it. The handle is just a wire, like a coat hanger diameter, but it's very functional and could be used to hang the light. The brightness is fantastic. It is certainly brighter than my car headlights, I am really impressed. I don't think there is a drastic brightness difference between setting #1 and #2, but I can tell some difference. It is so bright that I don't think I'll ever have a reason to use setting #2. The USB charging ports are nice also, gives it a second purpose. This may be so bright that I will have to be strategic when using it as a work light (aim it into a corner of a room or something like that).

Love my new light with one exception. It has a stiff neck!
The Dewalt battery slides in and out exactly like Dewalt branded tools. Nice fit from a third party! The "dim" setting is actually pretty bright. The "bright" setting is even brighter. There is a nice span in different between the two settings. I gave the battery life 5 Stars although I haven't actually measured it. I have enough batteries that I am not worried about battery life. The versatility is good. It is solid but light weight. There is a sturdy hanger on the back to hang from something overhead. This brings me to the ugly thing about the light I received. The unit has a swivel at the point where the light attaches to the battery housing. As shipped, mine was SO TIGHT I think it would brave broken something had I tried to tilt it any harder than I tried. I loosened the bolt and it tilted easily. Too easy. Now it wouldn't stand up without flopping over at the hinge. So I tightened it and had a difficult time finding a place where it was loose enough to tilt but stiff enough to maintain the selected angle. Instead of just grabbing the light and using it, I think I will have to grab the light and two wrenches to loosen, reposition and then tighten again. I am thinking at some point I will see if I can MacGuiver something to help the situation. Thinking a felt washer that would allow snugness and still slip when pressure is applied. Paul

Good for Tight Space Projects
Started looking for a better lighting solution after swapping out shut-off valves on a bathroom vanity sink and having no light but that off my phone and a cumbersome handheld flashlight. I found it--this work light! It's small, bright, and doesn't get overly hot the times I have used it. Have a headlamp that I use for certain applications but it doesn't always get the job done, especially for working on larger items. Haven't had any projects take longer than 20 minutes since getting it but the light has remained bright throughout so can't really comment on battery usage management. In any event, have multiple batteries so don't think a real issue for me in any event.

Bright and Handy Light
Since I already had Dewalt power tools, batteries and a recharger, this light was a natural addition to my tools. Yes, really BRIGHT! Easy to focus and very portable. Works well under a car and all around the engine for illuminating work. Also used it under sinks when doing plumbing. Easy to move around and position to shine on spots you need to see. It is also an excellent camping or backyard cookout light - just gotta have batteries charged up - but that is not a big deal if you already have them and use them with your power tools.

Light Works Well but Drains the Battery When Not in Use
The positive: my "Cordless LED Work Light for Dewalt 18v 20v Battery, 48W 4800Lumens Underhood Work Light" is plenty-bright (it has two brightness settings) and is very adjustable. It easily connects to my DeWalt battery and has proven quite versatile. The negative: I have found that if the light is left connected to the battery when not in use it will drain the battery after several days. None of my DeWalt battery-powered tools does this. In response I simply unplug the light after use and things are fine, but it is disappointing that it cannot be left plugged in. This is a small complaint, but there it is. In sum, the light is well worth the $23.42 sale price paid, just don't leave it plugged in when not in use.

Calidad y precio
Hace su trabajo de manera correcta, ilumina bastante bien para el tamaño. No hace milagros ni te vuelve "de dÃa" un espacio.
