I know this more than likely is a bootleg faceplate, but man is it beautiful. Even has the Microsoft logo underneath and everything. Super great quality so far and has a pristine design. Took the faceplate off of my gold shadow controller which was an idea on one of the reviews on here actually, and it’s great. If you have issues figuring out how to remove the plate, there are plenty of quick 3 min videos on YouTube on how to take it off. Really highly recommend. If you’re iffy about it, don’t be, go for it!Edit 4/11/2024I since noticed it coming off the back and constantly having to run my finger through it all to keep it stuck. Again awesome for about 2-3 months, but I ended up removing it after I moved. No residue left luckily, my Xbox looked good as new so no worries on that. Not bad but doesn’t last long really. Was always afraid of leaving it on for long periods, so totally personal preference if it’s worth it.

It's a nice addition to the controller vibe I've always enjoyed giving my controllers a custom look and feel and this is perfect it's not even like the normal textured grips it adds than unique look to it perfectly I almost don't wanna recommend it so nobody else will be having they controller looking like mine but i ain't a hater so I recommend it if you like to have the custom look or feel.

I bought a Gold Shadow controller on sale for Black Friday as the base controller for this conversion. Switching out the inner cradle is a bit time consuming. I advice to take your time and not force it. These are plastic parts.I transferred everything over. It matches the controller that was only available with the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Series X console. The difference being that the D-pad is gold and the back plate is not rubberized texture as the original.The overall cost for this project was comparable to buying a new special edition controller at retail price. Parts are good quality. Tools are included as well. Definitely a lot more affordable than buying the original from a scalper. I am very satisfied with my purchase.I also suggest a heat gun to remove the back label and cause minimal wear as shown in the pictures. Hope this review helps others.
