These lights are really bright. The box says 100w power and they mean it! We installed a dimmer to control the brightness.

First I'd like to say that I did return this product, not because of the quality or any issues with the item itself, but because it is labeled as a security light but really doesn't have any security features. I mean unless you consider the "security" feature just being a bright light which I don't think anyone should. So I think security should be removed from the items name. I will say that The replacement that we received was the same exact unit just with a motion sensor on it.The brightness on this product is extremely bright, and I mean daylight bright. It was so bright in fact that I went next door to my neighbor's house just to make sure that we had it angled properly, so that it wouldn't bother them if it went off at night. The material is a sturdy plastic, exactly what you would expect at this price point. The adjustable heads are very easy to use and convenient. I do like that the main light has a screw that you can tighten so that you do not have to worry about it moving at all in high winds.If you're looking for a very bright external light that you will have to turn on and off yourself, then this is an excellent buy. Just be weary of the name saying "security" because I don't think it adds any more security than any other bright light.

Very bright light, lights up my 1/4 acre yard enough to keep playing ball. Easy, straightforward install.Couple install tips - saw mentions that the screw to hold up the light was too short. The brackets that you screw this into is dimpled. Make sure the dimple faces out towards the light and the screw is plenty long.Also, this light initially had a slight glow when turned off due to some phantom voltage on the line. I added a Lutron LUT-MLC for $8 to the light box and this fixed the glow.

Nice light for the money. It’s best if this light is mounted to a weatherproof round box only. Rectangular box doesn’t match up well with the way the wires come out of light.

Bought 2 of them to replace the old ones on the back of our house, and now our back yard is brighter than a highschool football field.
