MW Polar Mandarin Orange Segments in Light Syrup, glass jar 10oz (Pack of 12)

I was looking for peaches that were picked ripe and tasted like what my grandma used to can. All the canned store bought peaches taste terrible. I know they are a bit expensive compared to store bought peaches but they arrived in perfect shape no damage to the box and packed well inside their cardboard shipping container. No problems with the glass jars breaking and all were sealed VERY tight. The peaches taste amazing and taste just like home made canned peaches. They are soft but not too soft, and they most definitely are not under ripe and crunchy. Compared to what else is out there these are really good tasting peaches. The glass containers are recyclable or they can be used for holding other things. Just soak in hot water and you can peel the labels off with your finger nails. I am finding all kinds of uses for these good little jars. And I loved the peaches so much that I am pack for more. I was impressed with the quality and taste of these peaches. They would also make a great pie filling with a little corn starch added to thicken the juices upon cooking. Great product Polar please keep ‘em coming! :)

Package was not "handed directly to resident;" doorbell was rung. Package arrived with two of the glass bottles broken.

The texture is mushy on the outside, hard on the inside.. the color is brownish. The light syrup is overly sweet and has a terrible aftertaste. I think either these are poorly handled or overly sprayed w insecticides or they’re laying around picking up the flavor of rot.They are in a word - disgusting. not just a waste of money, but worrisome. I would def NOT feed them to children or the elderly.
