Little boy loved this as Christmas, it is exactly the same as the Melissa and Doug one (as someone bought him one of those for christmas too), but this is an awful lot cheaper.Would highly recommend, very hardy as my little boy has thrown it all over the place.However, I have had to glue the head on the hammer again as it fell off, this is also the case for the Melissa and Doug version we received too so I think i just have a very heavy handed little boy.

It was a gift and the little one loved it. Just one comment why I didn't put 5* as soon as he started to play with the set the mallet head came off. It was bit embarrassing. As it was a gift, that seemed not safe enough and made look like I don't care of child's safety.

Nice idea, and reasonable price, but the hammer fell apart as soon as we picked it up. Bought it for the spanner/screwdriver for my little one to try the twisting actions (he's already fairly proficient at banging things) so I didn't bother to send it back. Could be better made, and I think it would be better if one half of the screw items were fixed - e.g. into the box itself, so that the little one only has to worry about 1 moving piece, not two.

This has been played with lots by a variety of children and they love it. It can be tricky to remove the nails from the holes after enthusiastic hammering but otherwise we've had no issues.

Nice little play tool kit I got for my 2 year old, he seems to like it but I think he'll get more out of it when he's a bit older. The head of the hammer came right off just by pulling the protective plastic covering it off. We had to superglue it back on.

Looks great, was eye catching and seemed good quality. Still played with now however had to glue the head of teh mallet back on as it comes off with too much banging

brilliant tool set for toddlers. My son has had hours of fun with this one! A few of the 'screws' needed to have their pegs glued back in to the heads but that was after months of constant use and occasionally getting wet in the sand box. I only wish it was possible to get more of the screws/boards as you are somewhat limited on what you can make.
