Amazing Guitar!
This is an amazing guitar! It plays beautifully and sounds great. I made mine look more vintage by aging the binding and pickup covers. I also put on a new nut. The spacing was a little too tight for me and I had an extra nut laying around that is perfect. The frets are nice and the roller bridge is great. I also added locking tuners and a strap button where I prefer it at the top of the body. This really is a bargain! Mine weighs 5lb9oz and is super light. This will be my new gigging guitar. I love the matte finish, but I did put on some wax for a little more shine. It looks like a vintage axe that has seen some things, I love it!

Great guitar for the selling price
This guitar came straight out of the box ready to play with no adjustments needed besides tuning the strings! The sound quality passed any expectations I had for a guitar in this price range with either clean or distortion (it carries enough sound you could practice without an amp if needed) It is a little weak when you split the coils, but was similar to other single coil guitars I've owned. It looks great, smooth neck and clean frets without any sharp edges.I would have given a 5 star rating, but there is one thing I will nit pick. It's not major, but you can see the internal wiring through the lower F hole on the guitar I received. If it would have been hidden from view, I would have given 5 stars. This doesn't effect the function or sound, just curb appeal.

Very Nice Guitar Except For!
For the price this is a very nice Guitar. sounds good, looks good, and nice weight. My reason for purchase was Semi Hollow, Stainless-Steel Frets, and the Great pricing. However, to my disappointment was the nut width was small at 1.625.Ready would like sellers to always post the nut width of a guitar because it a very important specification that would aide buyers and result, I’m sure in less returnsI asked an owner of this guitar what the nut width of his was and he stated 1.685. Because his was the alternate color I gave it a second shot in hopes it would have a wider nut. Unfortunately for me it measured 1.621, so I returned it.If the small nut width is not a factor for you, I can honestly recommend this guitar and had it been a bit larger it would have been a keeper for me.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Is this a great guitar....maybe. After inspecting the guitar, there were just a couple of flaws in the wood (matte finish). The most significant one is located at one of the head-stock corners where there is a dip in the wood. The guitar is very light...more than expected. The neck has a different feel since the matte finish is not all that smooth. The frets are small in my opinion which is not my favorite size. I love the frets found on a d'Angelico. The frets appeared smooth and bending notes was smooth. Neck appears dry with the color very light. Strings certainly need to be replaced. Gig bag is better than nothing...just a bit better. If a person has some experience working on guitars, then all should end well. I found that I needed to adjust the neck, the pickup heights, and the intonation. I finally got the guitar to sound better than a beginner's guitar. After new strings are put on (and oil the neck) , it should sound and look much better. Oh yes....tuning was a real issue. I had to tighten the tuners as some were a bit loose. Tuning this guitar took some longsuffering! It just did not want to stay in tune. Finally got things to settle down.Short-term, it took some work. Long-term, I believe that this is going to be a great guitar for jams in my music room with friends.would I take it with me to a show...probably never. This would certainly be a great beginner's guitar. It is an easy-player with very low action without string buzz...anywhere. Volume and tone controls work as expected. Coil-splitting.....meeehhhhhhh. Not so much.So far....it's a keeper.

Just what I wanted
This guitar is just what I had been looking for, a small bodied semi-hollow in all mahagony. It plays great with just a few tweaks to get it set up for my style like all new guitars do. I really like the matte finish and the color and shading of this one. The pickups sound great, they match the sounds on some of my favorite old blues records. Mine weights in at six pounds even. The neck feels just right, and the stainless frets are a pleasure to play on. My fingers seem to slide up and down the neck with ease, and bends are effortless. Unbeatable for this price.

Very nice for the money!
Very nice guitar for the money I enjoy playing it. It came from the factory in very playable condition with nice action. One of the features I really enjoy are the push-pull volume control knobs that switch the guitar into single coil mode giving you a lot of tone choices. Also it's a nice thin neck and easy to play. If you have smaller to medium sized hands this is a perfect fit for you. The guitar has a nice sweet tone and all of its settings. This guitar is well worth the money and plays like a guitar that would cost two to three times more. In the picture it is the guitar on the right side.

Looks very good, but needs a set-up.
I just received this guitar today and I have already decided to return it. When I saw the small size of the delivery box, I knew right away that this guitar would be "different". Esthetically, it looks very nice. The stain is evenly distributed. The binding looks good. There are no spaces or cracks where the neck is attached to the body. There are no sharp ends on the frets. There is a "very slight" upward bow toward the middle of the neck. If I can't fix this by adjusting the truss rod, I will be returning this guitar.Update: I tried to straighten the neck by adjusting the truss rod. It did not work. There is an area on the neck that sticks upward and this causes string buzz. I love the "look of this guitar. But this one is unplayable. If the neck were straight, it would be a keeper. This guitar would be perfect for a younger player who has smaller hands. If you have large hands and fat fingers, this guitar might not be a good fit. To be honest, I'm not expecting a perfect guitar at this price. I bought it more as a novelty. I really does look very cool with the mat finish. Mine has been sent back.
