I'm a runner with terrible flexibility and after 3 months of PT and using this product both at therapy and at home I can touch my toes for the first time since I was a small child. The simple genius of this strap is the "beads" that run along the ends. To get a really good stretch - the kind that hurts a little and will actually increase your range of motion - requires quite a bit of force. In the past I've used yoga style stretching straps and a rope product that I thought were fine, but I didn't realize how poor they were until I used this product. The beads on this strap not only allow you to get a really good grip on the rope that won't slide as you pull into the stretch but they also are a great way to measure your progress (e.g. yesterday I was on the second bead for my hamstring stretch today I'm going to see if I can do it using the third bead).
