LightDims Original Strength - LED Covers/Sheets for Routers, Electronics & Appliances. Dims 50-80% of Light. Same Product, Different Packaging

I initially searched for this with a requirement for something to block out the annoying blue LED lights on various electrical products within my bedroom. I like to sleep in a very dark room and with blue being one of the worst lights to have in a bedroom it was very much needed.Fortunately I found these and given the reasonable price I gave them a go. I deliberated on whether to use the black out ones but since I wanted to keep the indicator lights I chose these original strength ones.As per the attached pictures they have made a great difference and stop the projection of light into the space. Whilst retaining the indicator of the device and what it's doing/if its on etc.I've used them on multiple devices and they have worked perfectly so far. Its a tad fiddly to get them on but they stick well and you have lots to get through so there's the option to have another attempt.I was particularly impressed with the inclusion of the metallic variant for use with silver coloured laptops which was also included for free along with a special deal on any further purchases.I have recommended these to everyone at my work and even used them on some devices there.Overall very happy!

Good product if a little expensive. This version is not intended to fully block out the light and it works as expected. Slight problem with Amazon packaging - the packet was folded over inside the card envelope it was delivered in so some of the stickers were creased. Not bad enough to be worth the hassle of sending back but a bit disappointing.

Perfect! Best products on the market. I made the mistake of buying the cheap inferiour copy first to save about $2 but learned from my mistake when they didn't work and so I bought the far superior LightDims.WOW! No more being blinded by LEDs around the house. My clock radio display that was so bright I could read by it, is now reduced to a sleep assiting dim glow.The red dot from my TV that made it look like an assassin had me in his laser sights? It's now a pale red circle...reminding me to stop wasting power and turn it off instead of leaving it on standby.The power LED from my sons games console that was so bright I could see it shining under his bedroom door at all hours of the night...still there. I'm not blocking that light with one of the incredible LightDims as I want to be able to go in and disturb his game!Thanks LightDims, you make an incredibly useful and high-quality product at a great price.

I stumbled across this product by accident when I was looking into what to do about a few devices in my household with overly-bright LED's on them. Two of the devices were particularly distracting when I had the lights off in my lounge and trying to watch TV. The LED's from said devices were always 'in your face'. I'd actually taken to covering one device with a cloth as it was so bright.No longer...thanks to this product! The LED's are still visible, so you can still see what's displayed on them, but to a much better degree.I haven't finished sticking these to all of my devices yet, but the really pesky ones are sorted.And to think I had considered buying any old black stickers to solve the problem permanently. These are a much better solution though.I'm extremely happy with my purchase; will be recommending them; and will be buying more, if-and-when I need them.Quick delivery too. Arrived much sooner then the expected delivery date.Thank you LightDims!!

I have a number of irritating blue LED standby lights in my bedroom. In particular, the one on the TV is both bright, and the receiving sensor for the TV remote; as such black electrical tape would have made the remote inoperable.After seeing Lightdims mentioned in passing on the Technology Connections YouTube channel, I decided to give them a shot - I was not disappointed. The Lightdims reduce the light to a gentle glow, rather than a concentration-camp searchlight, and the IR TV remote works flawlessly through the product (don't call it a sticker or the PR department will moan!). I have since applied Lightdims to all the indicator lights on my various gadgets, as well as the neon power lights on extension cords.Something I didn't see mentioned in the marketing blurb, but is worth pointing out is that these work on some capacitive buttons. I have a desk lamp which has an always-illuminated touch power button. The Lightdims covers up the LED and still allows the button to be pressed without issue.Now if only we could convince gadget manufacturers to stop using stupidly bright LED standby lights, Lightdims would be wholey unnecessary...

This is my first experience with light dimmers so I have nothing to compare LightDims with but I found this to be an excellent product which dims brightness sufficiently while yet allowing some perception to tell that something is on or read an LED clockface for example. These should really reduce the nighttime light in my bedroom and hopefully aid better sleep.My only reason for knocking off one star is that I found that the proportion of shapes would have been more useful if there were a few more of the larger rectangular stickers and less of the very small circular ones.

I've put these on everything. Living in a studio, LED lights light up every corner of the flat and at night, there's no escaping them, they're like fireflies but much less instagrammable.I've put these dimmers on everything I can and the lights are still functional but they're now less glaring when you're trying to sleep or wind down.The mixture of sizes is handy and if you don't use the larger sizes, you can cut them down to shape if needed.The adhere relatively well, I've had a couple of occasions where they've fallen off, mostly because they've been on a vertical or curved surface. You also need to have really clean hands when you stick them on otherwise the grease on your skin can stop them staying in place so use some antibacterial hand gel before you handle them.

I do really like this this product, but i am afraid i can't see a time where i won't resent having to pay this amount of money for what is essentially some black stickers. They are great at appropriately dimming the light, but no matte option and bad adhesion are things that kinda annoy me about a product that is only able to sell for this price because of its absolute monopoly on the market.Three stars may seem unfair, but I don't think a product deserves a high star rating for simply being the closest product to what i want at any price they chose to charge, which is exactly how i feel about this product.

Beyond my expectations! They're really thin and precise, and looks like the belong to the product. Great that you can adjust brightness by layering stickers. Perfect when you just want the hint if something is turned out instead of it lighting up the room.

These are absolutely fantastic. I live in a small apartment and have to have my home office in the bedroom - that's 3 computers and an bunch of peripherals. Naturally everything has LED's on it (printer, computers, desk lamp, monitor, etc.), and would make it a nightmare for anyone who likes a dark room to get any sleep. I randomly found and ordered these online, and now have them on pretty much everything.Pros:- The film is sufficiently dark. Most LED's can be dimmed enough with a single sticker. There were only a few really bright LED's where I needed to use two.- The material isn't overly sticky; it adheres well, but it also comes off clean and without residue.- If applied to a black device, these are almost impossible to see unless you look closely. If anything, they just look like an integral glossy LED cover rather than a sticker.- My order of black stickers actually came with a sample of the white ones. I have a number of Apple devices so this was convenient. They're not quite as effective as the black stickers but they do work, and it's nice to have the option to match white devices.Cons:- The fact that they're not overly sticky makes it hard to get them to stick to angled surfaces. Some thing with a slight curve to it is fine, but bending one of the smaller stickers around a corner on something doesn't work.- $6 seems a little steep for what these are (basically just stamped window tinting film), though the fact that I'm planning to order more probably suggests the end result is worth it.Overall, despite being a little overpriced these are extremely useful and highly recommended.

Dank beleuchtetem Router, leuchtenden Steckdosenleistenschalter, sonstiger Betriebsleuchten am Fernseher, Video etc. war das Wohnzimmer nachts eher beleuchtet wie eine Landebahn - gleiches in der Küche (Herd, Mikrowelle etc.). Mit den 80% abdimmenden Aufklebern ist nun überall nachts auch wieder dunkel in den Räumen und man kann dennoch sämtliche Leuchten erkennen (auch tagsüber wenn nicht direkt die Sonne drauf scheint) - für mich genau perfekt !Unzählige Größen und man kann die Aufkleber auch gut zurecht schneiden.Das einzige was wirklich fummelig ist, ist das lösen der Aufkleber von der Folie (hier gibts 3 Varianten auf Youtube - ich persönlich empfehle eine Pinzette, da man damit nichts knickt und auch die Klebestelle nicht berührt)

Je viens de recevoir ces LightDims et cela ne m'a même pas pris 10mn pour cacher toutes les led de mon router, switch et de ma multiprise. Ces led faisaient beaucoup de lumiere la nuit, gênant le sommeil (chambre et bureau atenant). Les LightDims proposent beaucoup de tailles differentes et la petite ronde est celle qui couvre les led. J'ai mis doux couches pour bien occulter, une couche semble enlever 80% de la lumière, avec deux couches c'est parfait pour la chambre. Ce qui est bien c'est qu'on voit encore suffisament les led, ce n'est pas occulté à 100% (a moins d'en mettre 3).Voila moi je suis très content du produit! C'est exactement ce qu'il me fallait!
