While every book in the ISJ series by Mr. Poddar is a gem in its own right, Mr. Poddar has set the bar very very high with this volume.He addresses every contentious issue related to Ashtakavarga - both related to construction and interpretation of Sarvaashtakavarga, Bhinnashtakavarga as well as the Shodhya Pindas. The never ending debate between Varahamihira's method and Parashari method on calculation as well as the never answered question on whether the Lagna has to be used to calculating Sarvaashtakavarga rekhas have been satisfactorily answered with proper authority of the Shastras.The last chapter involving the dialogue between Jayanta and Acharya Shourajit is such an engaging read and resolves any doubt that may remain in the mind of the reader while reading the text.With a lot of responsibility, I would like to emphatically state that this book is NOW the best book that is available on Jyotish literature on Ashtakavarga. Mr. Poddar has produced a masterclass and bettered even the classic writter by Mr. Patel.I highly recommend every student and scholar of Vedic astrologer to go through the book thoroughly!
