I have been training for over 40 years, the last 15 in my home gym (and it’s loaded). I have tried three variations of the Landmine attachment, but each one failed in its own way. But these rubber attachments (I bought two), are amazing! My concern was that with heavy weight the base end would come up (I based it in the corner), I did rows with two 55lbs plates. SOLID! A rubber attachment to hold on during squats or lifts was great. The rubber attachment is thick and sturdy. You will not ragret (not one letter?) this purchase. Hutchaa!

I was looking for a small, mobile landmine base to use in our physical therapy clinic. I came across the Barbell Bomb, thought it was an interesting concept, and decided to try it out. I have not been disappointed with my purchase. The barbell bomb takes up minimal space, is very light, mobile and extremely simple to use. The dense foam is lighter than I thought it would be, but seems to be very durable; even with frequent use in our clinic, I've seen no signs of wear or break down in the foam. Initially I had concerns the bar end would create a hinge point or bend the foam, but it slides approximately 3/4 of the way into bulbus end. This prevents any bending or kinking in the foam, even when loading the bar. On most surfaces it grips firmly and doesn't slip, but I found on our commercial carpet, but when the bar is loaded up, it does slide a bit. As such, I just stick it in any corner where the floor meets the wall. The Barbell Bomb Bomb protects the carpet and wall from wear, preventing the end of the bar from digging in, and allows the bar to move freely in all directions. I wouldn't hesitate or order another.

Really like that I can use the Barbell Bomb anywhere in my gym area. Even though I have heavy rubber gym mats, this product starts to slip with heavier weights. I end up leaning it against the wall or something heavy.

What's the best thing you've purchased under $100? This is one of mine. I'm loving my home gym thanks to this landmine attachment. Super easy to use. Sure, not 100% as good as an actual landmine attachment, but I don't have the space or rack you would need for that anyway. I'm using it every day, and there is a fountain of exercises you can perform using a landmine attachment. I am now primarily doing landmine workouts over barbell workouts and working the entire body, and getting good results overall. Buy this and watch YouTube videos for new landmine exercises. Addressing slippage: yes, it does slide around somewhat, but I don't find that to really matter much. I slide it against my rack, or wedge it between dumbbells. You could also put it in the corner. I'm working out on some horse stall-type rubber matting in my garage.

Item has no weight to stabilize barbell. Better use a tennis ball and cut it open. You have the same thing and have saved yourself 69$. I rarely write negative reviews but this should by no means be on Amazon.
