ProWarm 10mm XP-Pro Premium Insulation Board (1200mm x 600mm)

Easy to cut - Stanley knife, or similar (plus a straight edge); just keep the face of the blade cutting vertically, unless you're trying for a "fancy" angled fit. I just kept my joins as square and as simple as I could. Easy to fix - I used a cheap "Acrylic Decorator's Filler", worked a treat. Inevitable gaps due to wall size / slope differences easy to fill using off-cuts cut to rough size for a pressure fit & filler coverup where needed (I had an inward leaning large bedroom window to deal with). Some sound deadening + heat retention + a pretty good surface to decorate over ... not sure whether to line the walls or paint or paper & paint etc. but the surface already looks good - even though it's a non-matching blue for the room :-))

Using these boards as model railway scenery/terrain construction, excellent boards which are nice and strong and do not compress easily, so no easily made marks if leant on while building, easy to cut and seem to take most glues without melting, great stuff.

A good board for minor jobs. The listed dimensions are true to the product, which arrived in a fantastic time. It was very well packaged to protect it from any dents and dings, and I was very pleased when I received it to see such care taken. The material itself has done a good job of excluding radiating cold from an outer wall in the main bedroom. My bed is pressed up against said wall, and my other half was complaining of aching arms in the morning. After installing the board, there are no problems whatsoever. It is durable and easy to install, a simple Google will help you to find tips on how to install insulation board, should it not be something you have done before. All in all, it is a good quality, fairly priced product that I would not hesitate to buy again.

Not interested in insulation. My usage is for modelling scenery for which this product seems ideal. It is sufficiently robust for my purpose and is easily cut both with a sharp blade and a hot wire tool. It was delivered quickly and securely and hardly broke the bank. It is also a nice colour(!) and pleasant to work with. What more could I wish for?

Gutted, needed this in one clean piece but arrived with a big crack down the side. Not just a surface level dent, its cracked and split through the entire foam.

I used this foam to make dungeon tiles (As seen by RP Archive on YouTube) and it's brilliant, nice, and sturdy and takes paint/mod podge well!

Simply a model makers dream material, it's so versatile. This size of sheet works out way cheaper than buying smaller pieces from model shops.

Bought this to insulate the bathroom wall as it's water resistant for any steam around but it is actually away from any steam from the shower, it's at the other end of the bathroom but it certain helps with insulation and keeps the bathroom walls a lot warmer as the bathroom has 3 outside walls which get freezing or used to get freezing. Very good.
