I recently tried the Redex Diesel Fuel System Cleaner, and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed. I’ve been using this product on my Land Rover Discovery 3 and have seen modest but noticeable benefits. The vehicle feels smoother when pulling away, and there appears to be a slight improvement in fuel economy. Results aren’t dramatic, but given the low cost and ease of use, it offers good value as part of routine maintenance. Only downside is the smell / pour, I haven't managed yet to not drop a bit on my hand when pouring.

Used this on my Renault Clio just before the MOT and it made a noticeable difference. The engine ran smoother, and the strong diesel smell that had been lingering was gone after treatment. Easy to use — just pour it in with a full tank. It’s not a fix-all, but for a quick clean-up and emission boost, it did the job nicely. Definitely worth keeping a bottle handy.

A well priced product to have.

I put one of these into my tank every second fill and doing the same commute every day I managed an extra 50miles out of the tank. (VW T4 1.9tdi, usually get 600miles, averaged closer to 650 using this)

So I do have an old 2008 C class, and this does definitely provide a slight boost in performance - making the car feel 10 years newer. I’m not entirely sold on the long term benefits as I feel the performance drops after 1-2 tanks when I stop using it, (I attempted 4 full tanks using redex) and I’ve never noticed a huge difference in noise. I would say in my experience it’s easy to use, and worth the boost in performance when the price is on offer, in most cases I would weigh up how much a premium diesel is vs adding this into a tank of cheap diesel. I am trialing Archoil brand of fuel additive to compare the difference, so I’m curious to see if there are any!

Good products good price. Still not sure if it really works. But Redex great products. Highly recommend.
