Quiet, Effective USB Fan for Small Cooling Needs
This USB fan works well and moves a good amount of air for its size. I’m using it to help with airflow around equipment, and it’s made a noticeable difference. The three speed settings are useful, and even on the higher settings it stays reasonably quiet. The rubber feet help reduce vibration, and the USB power makes it easy to plug into just about anything without needing a dedicated outlet. Build quality feels solid for the price, and setup is basically plug-and-play. Overall, it’s a simple and effective solution if you need extra cooling in a tight space.

Very quite
I bought this because I have 3 601 Miners in a desk hutch with no door. I mounted it in the back above the miners in the front. It keeps the space cool and my miners stay at 58c even when I up the settings. It is very quite. Pro Tip... I put velcro on the 4 corners to secure to the hutch back wall. Works like a charm.

Great little fan
Very simple fan set up, nice to have a variable speed fan. I’m using it to cool my foodsaver over heat switch. Works great. The only thing I would suggest is getting some rubber feet to stick on it

Decent Industrial Fans - See Review
DATE OF ORDER: 02/06/24 DATE RECEIVED: 02/14/24 DATE OF REVIEW: 03/10/24 PERSONAL BUY/PRODUCT TO REVIEW: Personal Buy DELIVERY: UPS - Nicely packaged with additional items. QUALITY: On initial inspection, these appear to be decent industrial type variable speed fans for control cabinets. Hard plastic, roller bearings, metal fan guards. Package includes screws for mounting in thinner metals with about 1/4" to spare. INTENDED PURPOSE: A Make-shift heater box. A rheostat would be used to control the 900W heat strips output. The fans would be used to blow air across the heater strips and into a separate area. RECOMMENDATION: The fans are working for this purpose. They are mounted to the bottom side of a 10x10x6 metal NEMA 1 Junction Box. The holes were cut with a Jig Saw using a metal cutting blade. The heater strips are located within. The 2 fans are mounted tight in the bottom of the J-Box. They take up the space with about a 1/4" of room to spare. As long as these fans work long term, I will be happy with this product. They have a nice air output (probably similar to the small clip fans you might use in your vehicle or a hair dryer on low setting). There are 2 to a package in this order. They are easy to install. 4 screws each. They run on 120V with a variable controller. The fans are made in China. We'll have to see how long they last. They plug into any 120V source. The fans 'plug' into the variable speed controller box which converts 120V to 12V (similar to a laptop power source). The controller is a floating box. In other words, there is no way to hard mount this to a surface using the box. You would have to figure something out if you want to mount this in a permanent way. It is not weatherproof and not recommended for outdoor locations unless you find a way to protect it. As for noise, they are industrial fans. They are not exactly quiet. They are not too loud. But you can definitely hear them. If I were guessing (since I don't have a db meter), I would say that they are louder than a refrigerator. If you have a wood stove with a fan on the back running on high, that might also be a similar noise level. For the application I have intended, it is working as expected for now. If this product lasts long term, I would be willing to buy another one if needed. I will update in the future.

Worked great until it stopped working within days
UPDATE After tapping it, it started up and has been running quietly for weeks 24/7. Upgraded to 5 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW This fan was whisper quiet. Moved a pretty good amount of air. Speed switch was nice. But within a few days, I unplugged it to try another location, plugged it back in and it didn’t come on. Just nothing. Tried tapping, shaking a bit and plugging it in and out. It came on but I expect anytime it will fail permanently. Qualify control missed this one

It does the job!
Periodically, my PC would turn off because my GPU would overheat, even though I had a liquid CPU cooler with fans. This, of course caused endless amounts of frustration, not to mention the risk of damaging my GPU. I did have "cooling wizard" software that came with my motherboard, and it did kind of work. But it was slow, and kind of a hassle to use. You had to be constantly be checking the temp and making adjustments. After making sure my liquid cooler, and extra fans, were installed properly, I decided the best, and easiest solution would be to buy an external small desk fan and place it behind my PC. Then I discovered this fan, and am glad I did. You can attach it to your PC, but you power, and control it separately. That means your motherboard won't recognize it, but it doesn't matter, it works wonderfully. It keeps my CPU cool, even when multi-tasking, or playing games, It is not exactly quiet, when turned on full power, but it is not really noisy either. To me it is worth it for peace of mind.

I am using one of them a vent in my smoking shed and it work very well to keep the air clear. The second fan is in my TV stand cobert and I have no more overheating problems with shuff in there. So in short there are good fans that move a lot of air.

I use the fan on my Xbox series X and I was surprised by the airflow this thing puts out. You can actually feel the air being sucked into the bottom back vents of the Xbox allowing for the Xbox to stay cool. I use on MSFS 2024 which is very demanding, before I used to get freezes and crashing after playing for an hour or so now I can play for hours and no issues. It has a turn nob to adjust the power of the fan on high you can hear it but I wear headphones and don't even notice it. Best part it plugs into a wall socket and is not usb so its not drawing any power from the Xbox. Only Con: the wire going directly from the fan to the power cable could have been more securely attached, maybe they will fix this in newer models. Can be used for other applications as well, would highly recommend.
