2.5mm for 2.5mm cable worked fine, put a ring main in my loft as for a separate power socket. A color to match new grey color codes, yes I had a box of old white ones now useless. These I brought at the same time as a box of 1.5mm ones. So basically the same. A simple product works.

Good cable clip that doesn’t break easily, these 2.5mm clips grip the cable tightly.

These are super costly for what they are but a perfectly adequate product - pretty much the standard these days - not too sturdy and the cable will pop out if you don’t put them on straight - that said they are just clips and if you can’t do that right you shouldn’t be let loose with a hammer within 10 feet of an electricity cable
