been using for wodden bowls on the lathe - works well
I have not been a fan of sanding sealer in the past as probably thru my miss use I find it tends to make the finish on the final item blotchy however I was get end grain tear out on a wood turned bowl and tried this one , being a spray it seemed to go on evenly with the lathe running slowly , dried in less than a min with the speed turned up and sanded back evenly . Seemed to harden up the end grain sufficiently to get a very good sanded finish

Aerosols are more expensive than the liquid, but just the job for putting over stains without smearing..
