UHU 38106 All Purpose Adhesive - 125ml Tube

A great product and being a clear liquid fits in with most jobs.

Once freely available, but like many solvent based products it is not so easily bought from local shops as it was when I was a kid. This glue is even better than I remembered 40+ years ago, probably because I am using it more appropriately, sticks absorbent and non-absorbent materials very well, just follow the instructions! Buying in these bigger tubes is very good value, and luckily if the tube does get squashed a little in the post, which this one did it did not squirt any glue out when it was opened, probably because the glue is not compressible and the tube material gives.

Use it all the time

This is an excellent glue for crafting ... I use it for sticking eyes into crochet animals and it works really well. Easy to use but sometimes a bit messy. Fries reasonably quickly.

This is the Largest tube that UHU make to my knowledge. Its much better value for money than the small tubes. The glue is good indoors and outdoors and dries clear, not yucky brown like some others do. If you are used to using brand name glue's i would say this UHU glue is a little runnier, it will flow out of the tube if needed. Good for all round sticking jobs. Be warned that it can dry with small bubbles in it if you try to dry it somewhere hot.

Melts plastic and plastic based items, this doesn't mean it can't be used for sticking plastic to just about anything. This stuff arrived in plenty if time for me to complete a scenography module for my course, it also helped other people glue their projects together, it has been used for many things in face.To get the message over here people, you're looking at an almost industrial grade tube of glue which will close the gap between gluing and welding. Mine was written in some weird eastern european cuneiform but that made zero difference, if you are as smart as a three year old (or smarter) then this will eradicate all your glue worries for the next decade.Ps. Did i mention there's lots of it?

I think UHU should put these big tubes into a a thick cardboard mailing tube as they are so easy to bend and mine was . Fortunately it did not leak. I now keep it in a mailing tube cur to the right length with lids both ends and the square box cut open and one side with UHU in big letters glued to the outside of the tube..
