Excellent Quality, been buying Barton straps for years now. Wouldn't buy anything else 😁

Lovely watch strap. Easy to fit very nice leather product.

***Update at the bottom*** I was looking for a replacement strap for my Citizen EcoDrive. Upon searching Amazon I discovered Barton offer a similar black strap with red stitching in the appropriate 23mm. The strap is presented within its own sleeved packaging. Which is great for storage and makes it feel a little more premium. The strap itself isn't the thickest leather but is soft enough. Barton uses a quick release spring bar, allowing straps to be swapped quickly. Unfortunately I had to replace these as my own watch uses curved ones. However I have some areas of concern. The leather around the buckle and the spring bars is quite thin and could deteriorate causing the strap to fail. I would like to see some stitching at the spring bar end and a bit more leather. The stitching itself also goes around the outside of the strap to the underside at the spring bar end. This could easily be snagged, and from other reviews, has been. The loops also appear to be made of a much cheaper material than the rest of the strap. Overall it's a decent strap that is nicely presented . Unfortunately at £24 it's a little too expensive for the relative quality. I feel it should be price around £20 and I can't help but feel that Barton are using the packaging to justify the additional premium. ***Update*** So after nearly a year of use I am happy to report that the strap has held up really well. The leather has worn in nicely and the stitching is still intact. Over the months it has become more comfortable. I've given it an extra star. However it's worth noting that the price has risen further. Which is disappointing.

Very nice looking strap, exactly how it was advertised. Fits very snug onto the watch casing. Softer leather (I have other straps from elsewhere and they are much stiffer and still not softened), so is very comfortable on the wrist. The overall quality seems very high with some excellent stitching (doesn't look like it will come apart any time soon!). And although these are some of the more expensive straps I have seen, but also I guess you get what you pay for as this is higher quality than some I already own. Altogether very happy so far!

Update, as of 4 October 2023...... The outer surface of the blue coloured leather scratches VERY easily!!! This strap now has an ugly scratch on it, though luckily it is partly hidden (when the strap is done up), by the other part of the strap that is put through the 'keepers'. For a LEATHER watch strap the coloured surface is NOT very hardwearing at all, I have no idea how or when the scratch got there - I am VERY careful with my watches................. As to how well this strap actually fits the watch, or ME............ I would NOT recommend ANY watch with the name 'Ingersoll' on it, though MY watch is labelled 'Trenton Watch Company' by Ingersoll, & Radiolite. (Sold by Watch Nation - no complaints about them). This because I bought TWO of this brand: one from Amazon EU (a 'Bateman Chronograph' - it turned up broken) & one from Watch Nation (the watch lugs have holes for the 'spring bars' which are waaaaay too big, so ANY strap or bracelet WILL be loose & wobbly - unless THAT watch is 'broken' too (already, before I got it, like the other one)!!!! I also purchased Barton Fabric Nato Straps - I had refunds for those, so at least Barton knows how to give proper customer service, whereas Amazon.......nope, they fail most of the time in EVERY 'area'. 1st review: For £26.98 it seems good value. Time will tell about its real quality & comfort. This DARK BLUE 'top grain leather' watch strap looks much better on the watch I bought it for than that watches' original (black) leather strap (made of 'horween' leather, whatever that means), which is very thick, & too stiff to be comfortable initially - but like new leather brogues may GET more comfortable as it 'wears in' (or maybe not). In the meantime I will be using the Barton Watch Strap as that one DOES fit me & the watch 'perfectly', is comfortable right away, & looks better too. The watch itself will not be worn than much, as it is a 'dress' watch, which means the Barton watch strap fitted to it, will last even longer than I might expect if the watch was worn every day. Good for me, then.

This strap ticks all the boxes that we wanted. It looks significantly more attractive than the default strap for the Garmin watches. Fitted easily. Make sure that the size is the same as your current watch strap (got it wrong first time)! Does the job and is yet to fail me. The strap is light enough to be used during exercise, so I never have to switch between straps. Leather feels reasonable quality.

Arrived quickly, nicely packaged and very easy to install. The strap is a good comfortable fit and the leather is very soft and supple. The reason I have only given 4/5 is that despite being good value for money I do have some concerns about how long the strap will last. Firstly, the pins that come with the strap are very easy to use but they are very thin compared to the originals that came with my watch and do not extend as far into the watch body. The strap is thinner than I expected from the photos (not by much, but I was surprised) and does not appear to be as hard wearing as the original leather strap on my AVI-8 watch. It looks good though, the colour is nice and it is more comfortable than before. I would be happy to buy another at this price.
