It does what it's supposed to do. It's just above toy grade. It's really light, need to add some weight. And make it easier to get the wheels off, with out jacking up the hubs.

Quality of materials
Update from my initial review. After some trial and error, figured out what the issue is, which is a counterintuitive design flaw as far as im concerned. Customer service did reach out which is a plus. The issue was that when you turn the truck on by itself the lights on the truck come on. When you turn on the remote, the lights instantly go off and there is no response from the remote to the truck. This is where ghe design flaw hits me. Once the remote and the truck are turned on, you then need to turn on the truck again by long pressing the on button on the remote which essentially starts the engine (makes engine noises). Why there are 3 steps to turn this on is beyond me. That being said, I do feel the quality is a tad low for the price, but after resolving the issue, the machine does what its supposed to do. Honestly though, if you truly want to get into the rc construction hobby, id say save up and buy a 1:14 scale

I initially criticized this seller for requiring a code to give the Amazon delivery driver in order for them to leave my package, first attempt at delivery I was not home and did not receive it. Amazon then delivered the next day and I was home so I got my truck! I think the code was unessesay where I live and would of like them to just drop off like all my other Amazon packages! But after all that the dump truck is very nice and is what I expected! Good quality, strong motors, metal gear box, very strong plastics used! I recommend!
