Spent ages looking for a decent towelling robe in a green or brown with pockets and a hood.I wouldn't have paid £50 for one normally but an Xmas cash gift went towards this one.Am 14/16 and got the medium as the large ones were 10cm longer. I didn't want something going down to my ankles.Am a bit confused by the images, though, as the one the woman is wearing looks big but not that long. It'd help to know what size she had on.It fits but not loosely. I'd prefer a bit more room round the shoulders but overall it's OK and dries well.Not sure it's worth £50 though. I've seen decent ones for much less - just not in colours I liked.

The wife absolutely loves this dressing gown, and not only does it fit her perfectly but it’s excellent quality and it feels like a soft towel snuggly wrapped around her.It comes nicely folded inside a clear bag and the sizing was bang on to what my wife normally goes for.The overall quality of the robe is excellent as it’s well made, the cotton material is high quality, the stitching is very nicely done throughout, and it both looks and feels like a premium product.The 100% cotton material feels thick, and the gown has a nice weight to it without being too heavy. The belt is easy to adjust to ensure a nice fit and the sleeves are the perfect length. My wife really likes the hood, and the pockets are also a nice size.It’s only been washed once so far but it dried on the washing line quite quickly considering how absorbent it is, and it came out both looking and feeling like new. Just to add, we’ve had some Christy bath towels for many, many years now and they still look great so hopefully this robe should go the length too as the quality is still the same.Overall, we think this is another excellent product from Christy and for around £60 it represents pretty good value for money too for what you are getting. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel it’s worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!

The material was thinner than I was expecting. However, for a summer light weight gown, its fine!

Needed as a replacement for a tatty looking towelling robe. I’ve only had the other robe for a few months, but there are already many pulled strings on it & the hanging loop pulled apart after a few weeks, so I decided to go for this Christy one as the Christy brand is a well-known, highly respected brand in the UK.The robe is lovely & soft, in 100% cotton, with a textured basket style weave. I love the addition of a hood which will be ideal for lounging around with damp hair. There are also 2 loops at either side for the belt, which means you can adjust the belt to your height/preference.I got size medium which I’d say is perfect for UK size 14-16. I’m also really happy with the sleeve length as I find some sleeves too long & they can become a nuisance. There are also handy front pockets for your phone etc. The robe is classed as unisex, but personally I think it’s better suited to ladies (my husband tried this on & the sleeves were far too short!).The colour goes really well in my bathroom too - a nice calming sage-green which complements my faux-foliage.Expensive, but you get what you pay for & I’m certain this will last a lot longer than my previous one!
