Quay American Motorcycle Woodcraft Construction Kit FSC

Enjoyed building, just 1to1 2to2 3to3 and so on, pieces fitted well together but best to use a spot of glue, the finished bike looks amazing, a word of warning, avoid poor imported kits, poorer quality wood, poor fitting together, and numbers on instruction sheet have some missing, I am going to spray bike with sparkling gold paint, overall very happy.

An intriguing kit, with very good diecut components. Bought for a twelve year old who found the construction a good challenge. As others have reviewed, the instructions do leave a bit to the imagination, although there is a good online grapical assembly guide which indicates the alignment of parts very well. (No online guide for guitar at time of Review). I would suggest the motorcycle is a more complex model than say the guitar or land-rover, if you are looking to progress gradually through the range.

Not the first set I have built from this company but this was not their best work. The end product looks great but glue is a must, not simply desirable as with previous kits. A couple of steps were very difficult, with one resulting in a piece being broken and having to be repaired. All this being said, the satisfaction when it was complete was immense and almost makes you forget the frustrations along the way!

This was a present for my partner, he found it quite challenging to make, it needed glueing in several places but when finished was absolutely gorgeous x it is on show on the fire surround.

We have so much fun and laughter making these plywood models. This one was brilliant. Great for adults to enjoy making together. So much laughter.. Love this one as partner had a Harley and he should have known how to make it!! We always challenge each other to make items in 4 hours... so far we always fail but it adds to the joy and laughter. Great product..

This was a Christmas gift for my husband and 11 year old daughter (they both like making things eg. Lego). They have both made other things from Quay before but I think this was the most difficult and took the longest (2 days with lots of breaks). Everything fitted well together but I would recommend glueing the wheels on. Looks great when completed.

It is nice, don't take to long too build. However, at points was a little difficult so i had to look on youtube although that wasnt to great. I also found the wood a little flimsy and part of it snapped. I ill have to buy another to complete it :/

My grandson in Australia is mad on motorbikes and these models were ideal as an extra Christmas Present. I bought four, two planes and two motorbikes for the two boys to share and build together. they did have a little help from their father but the end result was very pleasing for them all. they were also very easy for me to send via post.

Il modello è molto ben realizzato e il risultato è di grande effetto. L'assemblaggio è però piuttosto complesso e dubito che un bambino ne possa venire a capo. L'altro aspetto da considerare è che l'uso della colla è indispensabile per assemblare alcune parti del modello che non sono a incastro, come le ruote che sono fatte da corone circolari concentriche sovrapposte.

Me gusta por entretenido aunque algunas piezas cuesta sacar. Muy adecuado para quien no haya hecho nunca este tipo de montajes, se aprende.

Parfait et a répondu complètement à mon attente. Il est nécessaire d'être patient et minutieux ; ne convient certainement pas à un enfant de moins de 10 ans si il n'est pas épaulé par un adulte !

Je viens de monter cette moto américaine, J'ai pris plaisir à la monter mais j'ai dû utiliser de la colle a bois sur certaines pièces car ça tenais pas du tout.
