This made my face smell bad and stayed "sticky" all night. Only used twice, now I am throwing it away.

I can't get past the smell, like old tuna!?! Why, why, why. It doesn't feel as nice going on as other Vitamin C serum. I will finish this bottle but never again

Absolutely love this vitamin C serum. This is the real deal and has eliminated discoloration on my face and hands. I keep it in my purse and never leave home without it! Definitely will be a repeat customer! Thank you for making such an amazing product! One happy consumer! 🥰

TLDR: ZealSea has a good pedigree, but I would have preferred a more “pure” product.The basic ingredients in this product are great for your skin. I’ve used Vitamin C & E on my skin for years and had good results. I checked out the ZealSea company and they seem top notch ; for example, on the Environmental Working Group website one of their products even has the vaunted “EWG Verified” seal of approval.Unfortunately, their Vitamin C Serum has a very long list of individual ingredients. So I checked each on EWG and SkinCareLab. None of them are of any major concern for cancer, toxicity, allergies, or use restrictions. But check them out yourself and see if you have any concerns.Ingredients of concern to me:PEG-8, PEG-40 - Polyethylene glycol as solventsDIPROPYLENE GLYCOL - alcohol as a stabilizer“Fragrance” - ?I’m a canary in a coal mine, so if there’s a chemical that can cause issues, it’ll be a problem for me. That’s why I really prefer a product that’s simple in formulation and uses natural versus synthetic ingredients. So while I like this product and the manufacturer seems top-notch, I’d rate this 4 stars instead of 5 based on the formulation.

I received the Vitamin C Serum in a nice box undamaged. I have other oils for my face so I expected this to be somewhat oil, but to my surprise it wasn't. The pro is that it didn't feel so oil and it has a very nice refreshing orangey smell. The con was it dripped down too fast before I am able to rub it on my face. Also, the serum felt fine at first but after a while it felt kind of tacky on my face. I am not sure if I applied too much or maybe it's how it reacted to my skin? Regardless, after a week, I didn't really notice a difference and don't care much for the tackiness. I will not be continuing this regiment after I finish this bottle. I'll edit this if there is any change, but I doubt there will be. I usually notice a change after a week even if it's slight. Overall I'm not impressed with this serum.Update: The seller got back to me and addressed ALL my issues and concerns in detail! Wow the customer services is fantastic! They addressed the following (their response below):1. It feels very sticky and your face will be sticky after using it for some time:Since our VC content is 15% and the purity is 100%. compared with low content VC serum, it is a little sticky. And we use the CEF formula combination: 15% VC + 1% VE + 0.5% Ferulic Acid, this formula is the golden ratio of our research, which can make the formula more stable and improve the stability of VC.2. Before rubbing the serum on face, it drips down too fast:We recommend that you control the amount according to your skin condition and try it by putting 1-2 drops of serum on your palm and press it, then apply it to your face. In addition, you can use it together with light face cream, in this way, VC serum will be absorbed faster, thus reducing the sticky skin feeling.3. This stuff smells terrible. I couldn’t tolerate it. I want my money back.

I learned from my facialist that vitamin c only really works when it's not used in a dropper and in a dark container. This has a dropper and a translucent bottle. That being said it seems to work a little bit, my skin does seem to look a little glowier but I haven't seen any vast improvement. It also expires super fast...If you look at the back it says its good for one month. That's a ton of serum to go through in one month.
