Excellent replacement anvil
Perfect is fit and helps restore a heavily used 7-yr-old secateurs.

Felco is a good product but you have to use their parts to fix their stuff.
This was a replacement part and work fine, because it is their replacement for the tool. Just the right fit and wife is happy with her Felco bypass pruners.

Mounting holes don't line up.
I have 2 of these Felco pruners, I love them and used them extensively. I ordered this replacement and was surprised to see that it only fit one of the pruners. The other pair had one of the mounting holes drilled a bit off so only one of the screws could be installed. I expected better Swiss precision than this. I was able to use this on the one pair but don't know if I would be able to get another anvil with the screw holes aligned to fit my other pair properly.

Correct factory replacement part
We replaced the original Anvil part with this replacement part(s). Fit perfectly and clippers work great again (we also replaced the blade).

It is what it is
A steep price for a small piece of steel. But every thing is exorbitant these days. At least my Felco 8 is back in top condition, so I'm happy. The supplier was prompt and responsive, so I recommend them to you.

Renewed our vintage Felco.
Renewed our well used Felco. We had already replaced the blade twice but the new anvil make the shears cut like new.

Over 30 years ago I was told by a professional gardener to buy Felco secateurs and that I wouldn't regret it ... how right he was, If you watch any gardening program you will always see Felco on there and for all the right reasons too. At the time I bought the Felco 7 version (there are loads of versions to choose from now) and they have never let me down in all those years. I decided that I should buy a few spares, 'just in case', and the Anvil Blade and Cutting Blade are the obvious two to buy, as they are at the 'working end'. These secateurs are easy to dismantle and keep sharp (TIP : Don't overdo the sharpening though as they will keep their edge for ages !) and I for one will newer look anywhere else for secateurs. 5 Stars all day long from me !
