W7Eye Colour Palette, Colour me Buff

Great but not exact
I think this is a great product for people who dont know that they want to spend 38 quid on an ud palette for everyday usage. Now pigmentation on a lot of the shadows is an issue with these, I can lightly press (dry) on my UD 2 and I will pick up beautiful pigment. With the in the buff palette, I have to use wet and work with it very well to get the same results. So 5 minutes instead of 1-2 mins for example. Not that much I know but quite a lot of the reviews are like "these are exact dupes".but they are not, very close in colour, not in texture. Now for a tenth of the price this can obviously be excused but as somebody who wants super honest opinions myself, I thought that people should know that you will have to work to get the same colour payoff. As I said GREAT palette for beginners/high usage and there's not much fallout which I love. The darker colours are good and not too patchy but get another brush to use, eg coastal scents blending brush is a good one.I would recommend the nyx setting spray to set this eyeshadow to make it last even longer and a brightening primer to make the colours pop.So lighter colours use wet, darker not needed too much. Overall lovely dupe and I use it much more often for everyday looks due to price tbh.

the value is pretty astounding. I would not say it could act ...
For a £4.20 (what I paid) eye shadow palette, the value is pretty astounding. I would not say it could act as a dupe for the Naked palettes - whilst the colours are similar at first glance, the pigment and the quality simply do not stand up. It takes a lot of building up to achieve strong colour, and there is also quite a bit of fallout when applying; don't buy this expected great quality eye shadow that blends well. In particular, the paler colours are not very pigmented, and blending colours tends to result in a sort-of muddy mess, which I think I can attribute to the quality of the eye shadow rather than my poor blending skills. That said, for someone who does not use eye shadow much and typically only uses one shade at a time, this is more than enough for my purposes. The colour range is wide enough to experiment with, and I like some of the shades enough that £4.20 is very cheap. I would recommend this to a beginner to make-up who wants to experiment with different colours, but not to someone who already has similar eye shadow palettes.

This is an amazing eyeshadow palette
This is an amazing eyeshadow palette! I can't believe how many great shades I got for such a low price. This palette showed up on many beauty blogger channels as a dupe for the Urban Decay nude palette, I just had to buy it and give it a try and I'm pleased I did. This is very identical to the UD2 naked palette, same shades but I have to say that the shadows are not as highly pigmented as the UD ones but for this price I wouldn't even consider this as a negative thing. I mean, the original UD naked 2 costs £38, the w7 in the buff costs only £4!!!! unbelievable. The packaging of this palette is very nice as it protects the eyeshadows very well. Did not expect this much material quality for this price. The contents consists of 12 eyeshadows named as followed:Buff, Camel, Sand, Dust, Chocolate, Topaz, Earth, Storm, Silk, Wave, Thunder and Onyx. There are 3 mattes, some light and some high shimmers. They all look fabulous when applied. Good for everyday use.I highly recommend this palette. Definitely a very good dupe for urban decay palettes, for anyone who doesn't want to spend that much on eyeshadows but still wants very similar and quality colours. I've now ordered the w7 in the nude palette as well to add to my eyeshadow collection.Palette comes with brush as shown in my pictures. This wonderful beauty blogger has compared all three UD palettes with the 3 from w7 including swatches:http://makeupbysiham.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/urban-decay-naked-palette-12-3-dupes-ft.html

I love the dark shades which are very pigmented
I bought this four days ago, even if I live in Italy, the item came quickly but the package wasn't really well made. (that's the only negative part of this item)This said, the palette is very cute, elegant and for the paid price is more than what I thought it would be! I love the dark shades which are very pigmented. I'm impressed with the quality of the brush, it's good and a lot more "professional" from other palettes I own. (which I paid more than this obviously)I recommend this palette for:-cheap but cool presents for friends;-to all of you who is searching for a brown shades palette. Also, for those of you who really don't know which shade of brown/nude is good on you this is a very good match quality/price for some practice.I don't regret the money, I enjoy this product a lot! Also, the product looks very good!

Highly pigmented eye colour palette
I have been looking for a dupe of the naked palette by Urban Decay, which is around £38, when I stumbled upon this, the W7 eye colour palette, in the buff , which looks extremely similar to the naked palette, but is much, much cheaper. After reading the reviews I decided to place an order, and boy am I glad I did so. I only received it today, and was excited to try it out. I decided to create a smokey eye using the darker shades in the palette. Don't bother with the brush it comes with, as I found this to be no use what so ever! Instead I used my own set of brushes, and even applied them using my fingers, and both produced a great effect. (I always use an eye primer first as a base for the shadows, this gives a truer colour) The colours are very pigmented and true to colour. I also found that they blended very well too. The range of colours are excellent, enabling the user to create a daytime look, or go darker for a sultry evening look. My advice is too just experiment with them and have fun! So to conclude my review, I would say give this palette a go. You won't be disappointed!
