Finally, a Pet Door that Works GREAT!
I've been using a glass sliding pet door for about 16 years now. We had to get new glass sliding doors last year, vinyl. I had no idea I would have to get a new pet door, a shorter one, which is hard to find. After two other failed attempts, I found this one and it's GREAT. It fits the vinyl glass door, it has a double flap to ensure closure, and many magnets that are strong. It's a bit high from the floor for our little doggie, but I found some nice pet ramps online and everything is, finally, great.

Make sure you measure the height!
I didn't measure the height and I had to make a makeshift top for it...seeing it was expensive and I got a deal, I wasn't planning to return. Product is great quality!

Pretty Good Quality and It's Single Flap
Just had a new vinyl sliding patio door installed and with the design of it, I needed a 74.25 inch tall sliding pet door so my cats can enter and exit our three seasons room on their own. There are few manufacturers of vinyl sliding patio pet doors which I think contributes to the high price, but you do have to get a pet door that is made for vinyl doors because the tracks are different than those of aluminum doors. The Dragon sliding glass pet door doesn't fit flush on either the right side where it meets the frame nor the left side where it meets the door when it is closed. Don't know why that is, but it was the same thing with my old aluminum sliding patio door for which I had an Ideal Pet sliding glass pet door. This one comes with a roll of black foam insulation which you can put on the side of the Dragon where it meets the door trim. Now for the left side where it meets your sliding patio door, when that is closed, I used a Suptikes door draft stopper which has an adhesive strip. Got this on Amazon and have used the Subtikes successfully on numerous doors in my house, such as with closet doors that have gaps at the bottom or the sides and let cold air in to your room in the winter. So far I don't feel any cold air coming into my kitchen from the unheated sunroom but it's only early fall and outside it's in the 50s, plus I've installed this on a sunny day so the outside temperature in my sunroom is close to 60. As we get into winter a little more insulation around the door might be needed.A good number of reviews for this product mentioned the double flap system ends up getting their dog's leg stuck. I did a online chat via the Dragon website before ordering this to make sure it indeed is a single flap door, as stated on the Amazon page, rather than a double flap door. I was told if the item page says single flap, then you'll be sent a single flap door. And that's what I got. The magnets seem to work well I don't feel any air coming in around the flap. Two out of three of my cats adapted to this new door within a couple hours. Cat number three has it under observation at this point and I'm sure he'll be using it soon. First time I got a pet door I took out the plastic flap by unscrewing the screws and I temporarily replaced it with a piece of bubble wrap cut to size. This was helpful getting my cats comfortable with using it, they can easily swipe at bubble wrap and get in and out. After a few days I transitioned to the flap that came with the product and all was well.

Installs easily.
Needs to have stronger magnets to keep the flaps shut after the dog enters or exits. If there is even a slight breeze the flaps don’t shut so air comes into the house from outside. Otherwise I really like this product.
