Hi I would go for Solid Neoprene Reinforced rubber strip, it has a cotton reinforcement through the centre and could withstand the bending better.

Q: Can I use this in an aquarium? Or will it leak anything into the water?

Personally I would only use a WRAS approved rubber, that way its certified for drinking water so would be ok for use in aqauriums. Stu

No different type of neoprene rubber. Its quite a specialist material i would be careful of anyone claiming it in amazon or ebay. Better to use a specialist store.

Possibly, it would be non slip, but the neoprene is quite stiff and hard as it is not foam. It may be too hard on your feet without padding. Perhaps buy a inexpensive pair of slippers and use the soles.
