Does this product work?

I guess it depends on how you define “work”. My 15 year old dachsie has sarcoma of her right foreleg. The only treatment is amputation which is not a viable option for her at her age. Through he use of this product I really feel she is holding her own and has excellent quality of life. Her pain is minimal and easily managed, she eats very well and hops around on her three good legs like a pro. Thus product came highly recommended to me from a friend who runs a rescue for medically challenged dogs - she knows her stuff!

This says soft chews, the ones I got are extremely hard. What are your chews like?

I got hard chew and called the company, Aloha Medical. The hard ones are the old formula. Date and freshness are ok, but formuation is different. The softer ones are the newer formula. They told me I could call them and specify which ones. They will be carrying both since the feedback they've received is that most bigger dogs like the harder ones. But they haven't figured out the packaging yet. My dogs like the softer ones of course.
