I have a barbell that is allegedly 1 inch, but my 1" spring clips don't seem to quite fit on it. Only the spinlocks fit that came with it, but they were a real pain to laboriously put on and take off.It seemed to measure 1 inch though, so I thought I'd buy these, the 23-26mm (1 inch is apparently 25.4mm). They fit perfectly and there's no way they will slide off, they grip very firmly and are very easy to attach and unattach.They are made of plastic and very lightweight. Do the job absolutely perfectly, so would recommend them, MUCH better than spinlock and much better than spring clips as well IMO because those can be a pain to squeeze mad tight as you get them on and off. 5/5

Amazon estimated that the order would take between 24 to 35 days to arrive. However, I was pleased that these barbell locks arrived after only 18 days.I am pleased with the quick release nature of the locks. I had previously been using some spin locks (which take longer to release AND they tend to get loose after only a couple of sets). These Grofitness locks are holding my plates in place very well so far.The locks are only made of plastic. So I do not imagine that they will last forever. However, for the time being, they are doing a good job and I'm satisfied with their performance. I will update this review if the locks fail within the next few months.

Been using this a few weeks as as the other comments, it’s the correct size and fits(I got the smallest diameter for the bar I have) and works on spin lock threaded bar. However there is some wobble in the plates compared to the standard spin locks. I use this for the barbell as a result for any chest or shoulder lifts which works great!, would not use this for deadlifts or dumbbells as not strong enough hold through the whole movement as I would like.

We use vinyl weights on a1 inch bar and this does a great job of keeping the weights secure. Because 3 of us use the bar and are constantly changing the weights, this makes the job a doddle and takes a 10th of the time the old screw on ones took. Very pleased with them and I'm going to order more for the dumbells.

Work very well and durability seems good so far.

Just been performing this exercise with my dumbbell and the collar slipped and the weights just skimmed my head, hit my back and crashed on the floor. They are stable enough for any horizontal lifts but beware of using these for vertical lifts. Rated one star due to almost concussion.

Okay, they do the job but do not provide as tight a fit as the screw on collars thus there is always some play with the weights on the shaft.
