400ml Crystal Clear Spray Paint Aerosol - Satin (Semi Gloss)

I recently used the Rust-Oleum AE0040002E8 400ml Crystal Clear Spray Paint in Semi Gloss, and it exceeded my expectations. The spray is easy to apply, and its ability to spray upside down is a huge advantage for reaching tricky spots, particularly inside curves and around edges. The finish is smooth with a beautiful semi-gloss sheen that enhances the underlying surface without yellowing over time. It dried within 24 hours and provided excellent protection and durability for both indoor and outdoor applications. I used it on wood and metal surfaces, and it sealed and enhanced them perfectly. The UV resistance feature adds to the longevity, which is essential for outdoor projects. Overall, this spray is a must-have for DIY enthusiasts looking for a versatile, high-quality clear coat to protect and beautify their surfaces. I used this product to seal a small clay ornament I made for someone for Christmas. They wanted to put the ornament outdoors so I wanted to protect it against all weather. Being in a spray can, it is easy to apply. This product adds a great shine and hardiness when it is applied. It dries quickly (about 20 minutes) and dries without yellowing or stickiness. I would advise all those using this to apply it in a well ventilated area, as the scent of the product is very strong when initially applied and this does linger until the item dries. However, once it is dry, there is no smell. 5/5!

DOES THE JOB BUT A BIT TOO EXPENSIVE

I have re-stained a coffee table and wanted to seal and protect it. I normally use a brush and varnish but after watching some YouTube videos decided to give this spray a try. The finish is lovely, but after the first coat decided to move closer to the outside door as the smell is very strong, our dog refused to come into my workshop for a few hours and he normally wouldn’t leave my side. So make sure there is plenty of ventilation and if possible spray outside.

It's a good product, which really does protect surfaces. Needs to be applied in thin coats to prevent it running. Have used it on lots of things and am ***** pleased with the effect. It loses a star for the review, because the varnish bubbled out of one of the cans of its own accord, and if it hadn't been on a tray, it would have gone everywhere, creating a sticky mess. I've had several cans of it though, so hopefully that was just a one-off incident.

Excellent product,always does what is required. Always arrives on time. Value for money.

This is great stuff and the perfect finish to any painted project. Mine is a semi-gloss finish and just when I thought my grandchildren's garden Mud Kitchen looked good, I sprayed a couple of coats of this on it and it looks twice as good and it enhances the vibrancy of the colours. I would definitely recommend this stuff, but would also suggest that it is used in a well ventilated area, unlike me who used it in my garden workshop with all the windows and doors shut. I couldn’t breathe, but I love the smell! 😄

It’s still drying at the moment but what I will say is it STINKS!! it has given me the biggest head ache… the house smells an hour later and that’s will all the windows open.
