Update!I found all of the spare parts and have put it back together. I have also updated to five stars for this!!Original: This fountain was fantastic for the five weeks it worked. The dogs loved it. They far preferred it over the still water.I liked the soothing sound and even the cleaning of it was not at all onerous. When I initially inspected the strange little pump, I thought… well, it looks like that little pump’s components are not well protected from the water, and boy howdy don’t let it get low.Today it quit working. I’m disappointed, but not entirely surprised.Naturally it kicks the bucket a week after I could send it back.So 3 stars for it being good while functioning. 2 stars off for poor engineering of cheap components.

When the fountain is in use it’s great. However refilling water and cleaning is a huge hassle! I have to use something to pry the fountain open every time. It cannot be understated how much of a pain it is to open. Like others also experienced the pump failed on my after a year.

I love this fountian so far, ive had it about 2 months and i have had no problems with it. I hope it stays that way. It's way easier to clean than the plastic one i still have becausethat one was constantly getting that pink mold in it it had to be watched 24/7. This one needs to be watched on a daily basis as well, in my opinion. I clean it completely every 10 days. But i change the water and completely rinse it out at least 3 times in that 10 day period. I change the filters every 10 days or so as well. I take the top off it every night. It needs to be filled to the max line and i look to see if there is food particles in the bottom of the water. There usually is food particles by the 3rd day. That is why i rinse it out and completely fill with new water. Either bottled or filtered water every 3 days. I have 2 cats using it and they both seem to really love it. They are definitely drinking more cause i usually check it every night and fill it to the max if i dont dump the water completely. This fountian hasnt made a noise at all. It is so much less of a pain to clean than the plastic ones. I do not want to get my cats sick cause their fountian is a pain in the ass to clean. So far so good with this one. I hope if i need them ,the customer service is as good as people are saying. This is a teriffic fountian. And i believe a lot safer. No plastic bowl. It seems to be stain less steel which is a lot less bacteria friendly than the plastic one. The sell it as stainless steel, so it better be. I would recommend this fountian to anyone, id suggest getting the 3 L size, which is the bigger of the 2 sizes. With 2 cats i like having the piece of mind, when i go away, that they will have fresh clean running water, and it will be easy for my cat watcher to check and fill it if i clean it right before i go. This is a teriffic thing for your cats. Mine love it. Its a good feeling to know my cats are enjoying drinking water, and if i keep to my schedule for cleaning it and changing the water, they will be safe. You HAVE to keep an eye on it though, for the love of your pets. and this PETLIBRO fountian is a hit in my book.😃😃😃❤❤❤🐈🐈🐈.

My Lily loves her fountain. She too is a little bit of a snob when it comes to her running water fountain vs. bowl. It is very easy to clean thoroughly. My only issue was the pump died after 13 months. My husband off handedly noticed one day it was a little loud and then dead the next day. It is a simple motor and really I think it should have lasted longer than that.

Pump quit not even 15 months later and is covered by a 24 month warranty. I have reached out to pet Libro and they have ghosted me and not replied. I have submitted video proof and they have not made good on warranty.UPDATE: They have finally replaced the pump. Customer support responds EXTREMELY SLOW to emails. After a week of back and forth emails they have sent a new pump.
