Maybe that's what happened who knows. It looks absolutely stunning, as is the quality, feel and weight of this Gevi 4 in 1 pour over coffee machine. I have different grinders, coffee presses and other coffee machines, but this Gevi 4 in 1 blows them away and so it should at this price! Pour over coffee is a bit of an art form and even therapeutic such is the attention to detail. Water temperature, coffee grind, bloom time etc all have huge effects on your finished coffee, but this Gevi 4 in 1 brings it all together in a really great way. Preheat your water with the kettle feature, picking your desired temperature. Weigh your coffee beans or if you wish you can use ground coffee, selecting which on the menu screen. Set your desired grind, grind your beans into either of the included filters paper or reusable metal. Slide the exquisitely designed glass carafe over to the underside of the pour over and now pour over the water through the rotating spouts to ensure even coverage. Let it bloom for the desired time to get your perfect coffee! All of the features are programmable from water temp, grind size, bloom times, coffee strength. It's all done through the touch screen user interface or UI, which wasn't as daunting to use as I thought as it's very intuitive, letting you tailor everything as much or as little as you like. You can even save your favourite recipes for future use, or use the machines own recipe. It's an all in one pour over coffee machine that you can grow with as you tune and change this and that to get exactly what you want from it. An amazingly well put together, high quality and well thought out pour over coffee machine. Absolutely stunning!

If you're not familiar with coffe machines then I'll start of this review by explaining the type of coffees this machine makes.This is a pour over coffee machine meaning it grinds the beans down, which you then put into a filter and pour boiling water over which then drips down through the filter into the carafe to give you your coffee. This machine does not have any milk frothing capabilities so if you're into cappuccinos or lattes then this probably isn't the machine for you, this is more suited to someone that likes americanos, espressos or filter coffee.The machine has a bright touch screen display that is easy to use and has SO many different options within it, if you're a novice then you can choose the 'beginner' mode which chooses most things for you however if you're a coffee connoisseur then there are professional modes that give you so many options when it comes to grinding, controlling temperature, and measuring the coffee using the built-in scales.I myself am a novice and therefore have been using the beginner mode to make standard filter coffee, this tends to take no more than 5 minutes from start to finish and tastes lovely (although this is purely dependent on the beans you're using).The coffee machine itself looks exceptionally nice, it is made of metal and has a mixture of matte and satin/gloss textures across the machine. The caraffe that comes with it really is beautiful and most items (including the caraffe) and metal filter are dishwasher safe which makes for super easy cleaning. The machine also has descaling options for keeping the water container clean.There is no escaping the price tag of this machine and as someone that hasn't really used many other coffee machines it's hard for me to justify why you should go ahead and buy this over another one, but what I can see is that if you can afford it you're going to get a very good machine that you can spend hours perfecting the perfect coffee and is a statement piece in itself on the kitchen side!

For the price, I would have expected a coffee machine that provided each coffee variant including espresso, latte, etc.The device does grind beans but only for filter coffee.The settings for grinds etc are numerous exhaustive even, and I'm not sure that filter coffee really requires such advanced features.However, it is convenient have a self grinding machine and the coffee is excellent no doubt about it.The device is also elegant looking and compact and I do regularly drink filter coffee so I'm really pleased to have a coffee machine of such caliber.The glass coffee container is also stylish.Recommended.

Expensive, but produces the best coffee ever. The grinder is great and the pour technology give an unbelievable amount of flexibility to create recipes that deliver consistent results.An awesome piece of technology.

It works good, my family makes several cups throughout the day. Up to 4 times maybe. So this is great to have, can get really fine grounds and make a lot at a time. You can get your coffee however you want. Have had slight issue of the button coming off maybe once but it pops back on easy enough. It's been knocked over a few times and hasn't broken. Really good product

Takes a bit to learn, but I found that the pre programed recipe works perfectly.Also, it's beautiful to look at

The media could not be loaded. Update: Nach nur 5 Tagen der erste Defekt. Zwar keine Fehlermeldungen aber Urplötzlich macht die Maschine beim Aufkochen extrem Laute Geräusche... Starke Vibrationen etc. Dazu hat sich beim Brühen eine 4. Düse mit zugeschaltet und brüht dadurch 100-150ml zu VIEL Wasser!Die Kaffeemaschine wurde nur mit Mineralwasser aus der Flasche betrieben.Der Support antwortete schnell 1-2x am Tag. Unterschiede gibt es bei den weg den Support zu Kontaktieren. Über Amazon kam leider kaum Hilfe und das Problem wurde auf mich geschoben oder gesagt es sei Normal!?Der Gevi Support per Mail war da schon besser und hat sich auf Fehlersuche begeben. Beide stellen haben das Problem Als Video bekommen.Entkalken und danach im Versteckten Zustrom Menü den Wasserfluss Kalibrieren. Leider hilft das nicht. Da die 4. Düse sporadisch mit ein oder aus geht ist es trotz Kalibrieren mal zu viel Wasser oder mal zu wenig.... Das machst so keinen sinn und die Gleichmäßigen Bezüge der Maschine sind so unmöglich. Das Lief die ersten Tage ja Problemlos (siehe Video in der Rezenssion).... Der Email Support vermutet das Der Fluss Messer in der Maschine defekt ist. Bietet zwar einen Austausch der Maschine an aber leider nur in der Farbe Silber... und Seit dem Auch keine Antwort mehr... für 599€ unterirdisch und für 179€ ebenso wenig vertretbar... Ich denke ich mache Rechtzeitig vom Rückgaberecht gebrauch bevor ich einen teuren Briefbeschwerer stehen habe... Sehr Schade.... Aber da Wechsel ich Lieber zur Melitta EPOS!Ps. Der kleinste Mahlgrad für Espresso (Angabe Mauf der Mühle) ist immer noch viel, viel zu Grob. Extraktion des Espresso war viel zu schnell 5sek 40ml (17g Pulver) und frische Bohnen... Ersetzt also leider auch keine Espresso Mühle!Ursprüngliche Bewertung:Zum Primeday zugeschlagen von 599€ auf 179€ reduziert.Eigentlich kostet eine gute Kaffeemühle schon über 200€.Für den Preis wollte ich die Kaffeemaschine unbedingt testen. Wenn man bedenkt das manche am ersten Tag bei Kickstarter knapp 1000€ bezahlt haben.Selbst der Standard Preis von 599€ ist schon eine Hausnummer für Fillterkaffemaschinen.Die Melita Purion ohne Mahlwerk kostet derzeit 170€ hat ein Ähnliches Prinzip aber bei weitem nicht so umfangreich. Die Melitta mit Mühle kostet gleich das doppelte wie die Gevi im Primeday Angebot.Trotzdem werde ich den Preis von 599€ im Hinterkopf behalten. In dem Preisbereich bekommt man Mittelklasse Siebträger (Einkreiser)Die Bedienung der Maschine ist intuitiv und kann vorab bei YouTube getestet werden mit englisch Kenntnissen vorausgesetzt.Die Anleitung bietet ebenfalls nur die Englische Sprsche. Da war ich verblüfft. Sollten den laut EU Norm die Geräte nicht auch eine Deutsche Anleitung als Pflicht enthalten!?Für 0815 User ist die Maschine nicht geeignet und auch nicht gedacht. Die sagt schon der Preis.Der erste Kaffee heute aus der Maschine mit einem Standard rezept aus der Maschine war wirklich spitze.Der Vorteile solch einer Maschine ist die Gleichmäßigkeit des Kaffee da immer genau die selben Schritte ausgeführt werden.Interessant wäre es wenn ich mit dem Mahleerk auch Espresso mahlen kann und eine vernünftige Extraktion erhalte. Dies werde ich die nächsten Tage testen.Ebenso ein ausführliches Langzeit Review.Erstmal bin ich froh das sie gut funktioniert und sie zu einem sehr guten Preis bekommen konnte.Alles weitere folgt.
